Hello Wie Nation:  I don’t know how play by play will play out this week…Today, Michelle will be 3and ½ hours into her game when TV comes on…Tomorrow, Michelle will be 30 minutes into her game when TV comes on…So we will play it by ear…Don’t know about the yardage?  …I will be guessing on the yardage… Will try to get them off TV… This is interesting!!!! The par-3 12th hole’s entrance is through a cascading waterfall en route to the tee box. The 13th and 14th holes give the field a chance to rally as these holes are consecutive par 5s which are reachable in two shots. The par-4 15th hole will be drivable by the longer hitters, offering another chance to score low. The par-4 18th has water left off the tee and short and left of the two-tiered green. Michelle tees off with Lexi and Jessica in about an hour.. Back shortly Go michelle go |

the wind is blowing at 18 mph...gusting up to 25 mph

Last update: 7 players under par...Blomqvist at -3...dist. on back nine 13th hole 233yds...looks like headwinds.... 22 players even.... 15 players over par... Christina Kim drove the ball 285 yds on the front nine 5th hole...big tail winds on this par 5... OK Wie Nation…Here we go…. Up first 487 yd par 5...T8 With Lexi and Jessica, this par 5 should be a good guage for Michelle's game...but then maybe not  go michelle go |

Hole 4 Par 3: Down wind and down hill slope make for a difficult shot. A high shot will create a “floater” type shot, which would put you in the pot bunker to the left. The two-tiered green can be difficult to read. Michelle must have landed on the wrong tier...up the hill...again, up the hill...again, up the hill...I figure 3 putts to get up the hill  go michelle go |

Hole 5 - Par 5 Mens: 506 Yards | Ladies: 438 Yards Another scorable par 5. The fairway is guarded by OB and a sand bunker on the left side and a pond on the right. Hit it down the center and debate whether to go for the green on two. Or simply lay up just short of the sand bunkers to the right. Another hour-shaped green to test your skills. Michelle's drive was 326 yds....hope she goes for it  go michelle go |
