Ok, it's the 5th major and I know this is a week early, but Michelle has not played much lately, so we all will have time to pick our best scores. Michelle wants this one for sure and she has had some success here .........so get your scores in and I will start it off.......

I saw Michelle on the Golf Channel the other day at the Evian Championship and she said she had already played a few rounds there and that everything was fine.......and that she was very excited to be back playing in LPGA events again.......She looked really good and looked ready to start playing well in this next major next week........

Hello Wie Nation: Wow! It’s the final Major of the year and nothing done (to speak of) by Michelle…. Her best tournament result was the U.S. Women’s Open, Lancaster, Pa....(11th...-2) She’s had about 3 weeks of practice and hopefully, she’s pick up her stride at the Evian Championship… There is rain in the forecast for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, so Michelle needs to get out of the gate early and finish strong for the Solheim Cup… SoRd. 1...67...-4 Rd. 2...69...-2 Rd. 3...68...-3 Rd. 4...67...-4 Tot…271...-13... MICHELLE SHOOTS +4 75 IN FIRST ROUND
boolaboss and teeshot are tied for first place after she shot a +4 75 in round one.......Michelle did do pretty good in GIRs with 13 of 18, but her 35 putts were her downfall.......she started on the back nine and had a +1 there but she shot a +3 on the front side.......and will have to improve in round 2 to make the cut..............but she has some good company with her as Cruistie Kerr and Suzanne Pettersen are also at +4.......here is our small first round leaderboard........

JUS976 TAKES BIG LEAD AFTER 3RD ROUND 70 BY MICHELLE
Michelle Wie had a one-under par 70 in the 3rd round and our jus976 earned the 5 bonus with a correct score.....to open up a sevrn-point lead over teeshot going into the final round........here is our current leaderboard:

JUS976 WINS MINI CONTEST BY 15 POINTS!
Michelle Wie had her last 3 rounds at under par to finish at -3 and T-16......which means that jus976 WINS our contest by 15 points over boolaboss and teeshot.....with bobawiefan finishing fourth.......CONGRATULATIONS jus976.......I am pretty sure that a 15-point winning margin is a mini contest record!!.......

JUS976 WINS BY 6 POINTS; MICHELLE SHOOTS ONE-UNDER 70
Michelleshot her 2nd under-par 70 in the last round to finish at
T55 and +5.....earning a check for $9,060.00.....jus976 earned
her 2nd 5-point bonus with a 70 score......beating balabill by 6 points

wow!!!!! LPGA courses are being set-up too easy, minus 21 in a major is nuts. I think it does damage to the TV ratings. I know the majors this year has been a big let down for me. the US open was great, minus 4 for the weekend. that's a good score for a major championship.
