This is another Major that I'm sure Michelle would love to win........let's hope that her hip is completely healed by now.........and that she is in good shape to make a serious bid to win it..............

Hello Wie Nation:  A Bone Spur…Now we know what is wrong with Michelle’s left foot… I guess, playing golf with a bone spur is like playing golf with this on your foot…  Except it hurts…  Anyway, Michelle said she wouldn’t be playing this tournament if this wasn’t a Major… So, I figure, she’ll be giving a 120% effort to win this tournament… Rd. 1...69...-3...Cold with 16 to 19 mph wind gusts and clear Rd. 1...71...-1...Cold with 16 to 21 mph wind gusts and a chance of rain Rd. 2...68...-4...59 to 61 degrees with 11 to 16 mph wind gusts and clear Rd. 4...72....E….64 degrees with 20 to 26 mph wind gusts and rain Tot…..280...-8...Michelle hangs on to win in the final Round…. Michelle just went Par, Par and Birdie on her first 3 holes of the first round........so it looks like we have just 5 contestants in this 3rd major of the season.......

MICHELLE SHOOTS A 76; CHARGEPADS LEADS BY 2 POINTS OVER JUS976
Michelle, wearing a boot, shot a +4 76 and will have to do much better in round 2 to keep our contest going on.......but she said she will be going for more birdies tomorrow........here is our first round Leaderboard:
