In 2014, Seventeen-year old Lydia Ko shot a final-round 6-under 65 to win her fourth LPGA Tour victory at the Marathon Classic Presented by Owens Corning & O-I. Ko’s four-day total of 15-under 269 bested 2008 champion So Yeon Ryu by one shot. Ryu missed a six-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole to force a playoff. With the $210,000 winner’s check, Ko becomes the youngest player in LPGA Tour history (17 years, 2 months, 26 days) to cross the $1 million mark with her career earnings now $1,061,019.
