Hi ya wienation...another windy day,,,BUT not as windy....another good day for Wiesy...But IT COULD HAVE BEEN WAY WAY BETTER....Wiesy made a ton of makeable chances,,,But the putts just did drop...but at least she d chances...on TV they showed her Fairway Eagle on #15...BJ was right next to me as the ball inched it's way into the cup...we BOTH yelled and cheered...also on TV they showed her GREAT shot from behind the coconut tree on #17...fabulous shot
my favorite shot of hers today was on #9...remember when I say that she ALWAYS cuts the mound dogleg...anyway..today she mishit her drive a little and it went INTO the fairway bunker on the top of the mound...her ball was about ONE INCH from the FRONT EDGE of that sand trap...I thought she was DOOMED...Wiesy played a magnificent shot to about 8 feet PIN HIGH...I was estatic...Made my day
a little about her double bogey...her drive was pushed to the right toward the right side POND...another inch and it would have been in the water....Wiesy got LUCKY THERE...she punched her 2nd shot sideways to the fairway...her 3rd was a SO-SO shot pin high but about 25 feet away...then the dreaded three putt
anyway...Wiesy is still in the hunt...she is playing SOLID Golf...I personally think that she will have a great round three and then be in super contention for Saturday
