There is confusion with Michelle’s scorecard…Hole 10...Par 5...536yds is either a Par or a Bogey… On TV, it’s a Par On the Scorecard, it’s a Bogey I’m going with the par on hole 10...I will adjust, if need be, in the morning? ? Hello Wie Nation: Wow? Michelle played poorly?   7 of 14 fairways….32 putts… 12 of 18 greens…5 of the 6 missed greens were in the bunker…2 of 5 sand saves… On (hole 15...Par 4...315yds) probably shorter, Michelle used a 3 iron off the tee? ?? And hole 15 was a Par 4 eagle hole? ?? On the bright side, Michelle had an excellent eagle on the par 5, 8th hole… Anyway, hopefully, Michelle will do better in round two… Round Two Pairing and Tee Time: Michelle’s group will be 1 hour and 54 minutes into their golf game when TV comes on at 1:00 AM EST on the golf channel Friday, 27 Feb11:06 AM TST… 11:06 PM EST Thursday EveningTee 10...Group 16 Michelle Wie...+1...T54 Mi Jung Hur...+1...T54 Cheyenne Woods...+1...T54 TV TimesFeb 27 - GC 1:00 AM-5:00 AM ET I have edited Michelle’s first round scores and stats… It appears that Michelle got a bogey on the par 5, 10th hole… Go michelle go Got to love wie golf bobawiefan

Hi ya Fans of Wiesy Golf.......OK OK OK...I am truly Dissappointed at yesterday's round...and it is ONLY because of ONE SILLY HOLE...Wiesy has for years confused her Fans and the golf world in general...but YESTERDAY pretty much took the cake...I have scratched my head so so many times that I may have to buy a wig to go out...here is my problem with yesterdays round....HOLE 15...normally 315 yards...BUT YESTERDAY they moved the tees UP...the hole according to the announcer was 264 to the front of the green...EVERYONE was going for the green from the tee...SHORT HITTER Pornanong Phatlum DROVE the green using Driver...what was Wiesy thinking...here is what I believed happened...she played her practice rounds on that hole teeing off from 315 yards...so her GAME PLAN COURSE MANAGEMENT was to tee off with an Iron and then a wedge...BUT THE HOLE WASN'T 315 yards...it was ONLY 264 yards....granted that her driver would be TOO LONG for that hole...but her Soft Trusted 3 wood or hard hitting Rescue Club could have been used...ANYTHING would have been better that playing it SUPER DOOPER IRRATIONALLY SAFE......even after her silly iron, she was still very Far from the hole...infact her IRON JUST BARELY CLEARED THE RAVINE....everyone and their mother would tell you that from the tee, the ONLY GOOD SMART PLAY for team Wie was to Play for the Green....granted that she did not know that ONLY FOUR TOTAL PLAYERS scored worse than Par>>>PAR was NOT a good score on that hole...a Par and you lost shots to the field....the wind was not a factor, she wasn't hitting from a BAD LIE, she could tee her ball up comfortably...the FRONT of the green was OPEN....their wasn't any WATER or OB that comes into play...she didn't have to use her ERRATIC DRIVER....the hole was made for her to attempt to drive the green of which she can easily reach...her short game is solid should she miss the green....I ask myself over and over....WHERE is the CONFIDENCE of Wiesy....I know that both announcers were SHAKING their heads at Team Wie's decision on this hole going with a silly iron...I will bet that InBee, Pornanong, and their caddies were secretly wondering, what is Team Wie doing....what was Wiesy Thinking...and what was Duncan thinking
here is my last thought of this incident....Having a good game plan is good and important...but when the situation changes to your advantage, you have to ADJUST and try to take advantage of the situation...in my NOW FINGERNAILED SCARRED BALDING HEAD...Wiesy and Team Wie BLEW a GREAT OPPORTUNITY....granted that going for the green could have produced a worse score than what she got....but in my opinion, YOU GOTTA AT LEAST GIVE IT A SHOT
oh well, my VENTING is OVER...water under the bridge...with my luck, today hole #15 will be pushed WAY WAY back and then NOW TEAM WIE will attempt to drive the green...gulp....anyway...I am still cheering for Wiesy to have a good round today...I am still a TRUE BLUE CONFUSED fan of Wiesy golf...damn but Wiesy golf sure is filled of STRANGE STUFF....I have always said this of Wiesy golf ""expect the unexpected"" is the mantra of Wiesy golf....whew I am exhausted, but at least my typing fingers got a workout...Aloha Folks...see ya..
