Pretty soon we're going to have to start an Olympic Page Bob! Michelle's got that on her mind. The comments to this article at CNN were interesting, mostly positive. I hope she makes it to the Sime Darby Malaysia tournament.

Hello Wie Nation: Hello Teeshot: Pretty soon we're going to have to start an Olympic Page Bob! Michelle's got that on her mind. The comments to this article at CNN were interesting, mostly positive. I hope she makes it to the Sime Darby Malaysia tournament. The Olympics is 2 years away…2016...Plenty of time for an Olympic Thread? ? But??Rolex World No. One…Stacy Lewis has 617.38 total points Michelle has 324.53 total points Michelle is 292.85 points behind Stacy; and I don’t believe there are enough points to be gained by Michelle’s in her last 6 tournaments to overcome Stacy’s lead as World Number One… But, there is an outside chance for Michelle to Win the Player of the Year Award? The Rolex Player of the Year is awarded based on a formula in which points are awarded for top-10 finishes and are doubled at the LPGA's four major championships and at the season-ending Tour Championship. The points system is: 30 points for first; 12 points for second; nine points for third; seven points for fourth; six points for fifth; five points for sixth; four points for seventh; three points for eighth; two points for ninth and one point for 10th. 1 Lewis, Stacy 212 2 Park, Inbee 171 3 Wie, Michelle 151 4 Ko, Lydia 134 5 Thompson, Lexi 106 Michelle is 61 points behind Stacy….And Stacy is playing the Reignwood LPGA Classic and the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia tournaments…While Michelle is not listed the final field of those two tournaments? ? Michelle is listed in the final field of the LPGA KEB · HanaBank Championship, the Blue Bay LPGA, and the Fubon LPGA Taiwan Championship tournaments… As of now, there is no final field for the MIZUNO CLASSIC, Lorena Ochoa Invitational Presented by Banamex, and the CME Group Tour Championship An outside chance to win Player of the Year?Got to love wie golf bobawiefan

I was just joking about the Olympic thread Bob! But, I bet Michelle thinks two years is not far away and she needs to get busy! Work work work, train, train, train! You're probably right about the Rolex number 1 since she's missed some tournaments. Player of the Year - she may be thinking of that. She's not going to play again until the tournament in S Korea. See my post in your rehab links. www.golfchannel.com/news/golf-central-blog/wie-ko-nursing-injuries-asian-swing-gets-underway/“Michelle's injury continues to improve, but her doctors have recommended two more weeks of rest and rehab,” IMG spokesman Mike Scanlan said. “Her goal is to return in two weeks in Korea.” Wie is hopeful she will be able to play the KEB-LPGA HanaBank Championship in Incheon, South Korea, Oct. 16-19.
