Hello Wie Nation:  Thank you for the kudos… Michelle tee’s off at 9:43 pst with Anna Nordqvist and Angela Stanford… A quick review of round one… Par 3’s….no birdies…two bogeys Par 4’s….one birdie…no bogeys Par 5’s….three birdies…no bogeys I know Wiefan was pleased with Michelle’s play on the par 5’s…three birdies out of four holes….but Al Miyazato had an eagle on the par 5 tenth hole… ;D ;D ;D So today, Michelle, I want you to please me…I want some birdies on the Par 3’s…at least one..  :ome Let’s do a Suzann today and get out of the gate quickly…You’re in the 4th group from the last group and Wie Nation wants some TV time… Remember, Michelle, we don’t have quality stats…  Round two coming up. Hello Wie Nation: "Good Morining Boys". We saw more of michelle on her Kia commercial, than on live tv. But, we did see her going for the green in two on the 18th hole...I think it was 235 or 245 yds.. landed in the bunker...excellent bunker shot...strange looking hand grasp of the putting club...never the less. she birdied.  Got to love wie golf Final 2nd round stats: fairways hit...11 of 14...same as yesterday greens hit...13 of 18...one less than yesterday putts...total putts...31...one more than yesterday dist... 273 yds....about the same sand saves...0 of 1....wonder why the bunker shot on the 18th didn't count as a sand save??? Par 3's... par...big improvement over the 1st rd Par 4's...birdie...bogey...broke even...but less than yesterday par 5's...one birdie...two less than yesterday Michelle get a good nights sleep and fire it up tomorrow  got to love wie golf bobawiefan |

Hi ya folks...great reporting bobawiefan...KEEP IT UP!!!...FANtastic stuff from you
here is my opinion....Wiesy is playing REALLY STEADY GOLF in this tournament...she is in 7th place and with TWO more days, all she has to do is "GET CLOSER and pass a few players tomorrow"...if Wiesy can get herself to within 3 or 4 shots of the leader tomorrow....Wiesy has put herself into a "Possible realistic chance"...Providing that she shoots lights out on Sunday....THIS is Possible and DOable for the kid, considering that her tee to green game is SOLID....who knows when that "Split handed long putter " will catch fire...actually if you look at it...this is what I mean when I say she is playing STEADY and Solid
13 GIRS....if you factor in the average par on these holes with TWO Putts...this makes 26....so to get to "ONLY" 31 putts total means 5 "one Putts" for the remaining 5 holes that she did not get her GIR...in my opinion, this is STEADY golf....of course all of my "jibber-jabber" could be just nonsense...especially if we consider that "we do not know if she had any Three putts or multiple 3 putts or if she chipped in from the fringe or what...but just looking at the Number aspect of things, her putting is "normal" in the numbers scheme...of course we wish for the Positive ABNORMAL...especially when we don't know how many of those 13 GIR's were "GOOD Makeable Birdie Putts"...I suspect that Many were since her fairways hit and Gir numbers look very very respectable
anyway...tomorrow is moving Day...if Wiesy can just get herself into the final one or two grouping...then I say, she has a chance "AT LEAST"...ok kid...let's get to about 3 or 4 of the lead after tomorrow leading into Sunday...this is a GOAL that isn't too far fetch or unrealistic...lets go Wiesy...let's Light it up tomorrow...go Wiesy go
