It is time for our WNWAC Mini Scoring Contest to get going........this is a three-day event starting on Friday.......and par is 71 for this tournament...........Michelle has back-to-back T-9s going into this one..........so let's hope she can get at least a top 5 in this one..........don't forget she finished second to Yani by one shot here 3 years ago...........

We still have 3 hours before Michelle tees off.........so those who
have not sent in their scores.........still have time.........many wonder why 98 of the top 100 on the LPGA money list are playing in this 3-day tournament in a small town in Arkansas....but all you have to do is see how much Ai Miyazato won last year..........and you've got the answer...........THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS!!.......now you know the answer.....

OK, Michelle shot a 75 in round one.........so no one was close........however, charpads is our leader again at -5.......he has a 1-point lead over balabill........who is 2nd at -6.......the rest of us are tied at -7..........here is our current leaderboard......

The first 2 holes she played did her in - AGAIN!...........It seems that Michelle has problems with her first 2-3 holes.........she started on the back nine..........and bogeyed 10 and 11.........that put her at PLUS SIX........and in way over her head.........but on the next 16 holes she was MINUS FOUR!!!.........but still 2 strokes from making the cut..........so her minus-2 69 could put her in a good frame of mind for the U.S, Women's Open next week.........
