The LPGA and Australian Ladies Professional Golf will co-sanction the Women’s Australian Open. The event is scheduled to be played 2.9.2012 through 2.12.2011 at Royal Melbourne. In 2013, the event moves to Royal Canberra. Adding another event to the LPGA schedule is great news. Hopefully, with this addition we will also get television coverage in the United States. Many have called for more events in the United States, and I agree. But this is a great addition to the schedule.

The Shoprite LPGA Classic announced its dates for the upcoming year. The tournament week with start 5.28.2012, with tournament play scheduled for 6.1.2012 through 6.3.2012. The 54-hole event will be held at the Bay Course at Seaview Resort.
