Morgan Pressel and Annika Sorenstam will comprise the first-ever women’s team at the ADT Skills Challenge on 11.7.11. Annika was the first woman to compete in this event in 2004, finishing 6th. The Annika-Morgan team will take on defending champions Nick Price and Mark O’Meara, Nick Faldo and Rocco Mediate, and Jerry Kelly and Zach Johnson. Challenge categories include long drive, , mid-iron, bunker shot, chip shot, trouble shot and short iron. Natalie Gulbis teamed up with former NFL quarterback John Elway to win in 2007. Paula Creamer, who first competed in the ADT Skills Challenge as an individual in 2005, finished 2nd with former NFL wide receiver Sterling Sharpe in 2006. Will Annika and Morgan be the first all-female team to win? I certainly hope so! :ani_thumbup:
