Ok, Michelle, let’s grip it and rip it, and hit some fairways and greens… WIE, Michelle …-1...T52...now T52 PETTERSEN, Suzann…-1...T52...now T52 GULBIS, Natalie…-4...T15...now T19 Projected Cut…84 players…Even From the front nine: Up first: Hole 1...365yds par 4 Hole No. 1 on the Senator is a dogleg right par-4. Avoid the bunkers guarding both sides of the fairway to leave a mid- to short-iron to a very accessible green. Hole location will dictate how aggressive the approach shot can be played because trouble fronts the green.
Yesterday…Par…missed the fairway, hit the green and two putted…yesterday, this hole was a birdie hole… Let’s hit this fairway and go from there

hole one...365 yd par 4...Birdie...-2...T38...Holding off on the Whoop Deee Doooo suzann...par...-1...T53 natalie...par...-4...T23 hit the fairway...fairways hit 1 of 1 missed the green...gir 0 of 1 chipped...chip saves 1 of 1 zero putts...chip in birdie, or putted from the fringe...keeping an eye out up next: Hole 2...163yds par 3 The need for a long iron or fairway wood off the tee makes the par-3 second hole more difficult. The front of the huge green is protected by three deep bunkers, and a ridge bisects the middle of the green, separating the front section from the back.
yesterday...Par...hit the green and two putt

hole two...163yd par 3...Par...-2...T38...The stats didn't change on the last hole....Mojo suzann...par...-1...T54 natalie...birdie...-5...T15 hit the green...gir 1 of 2 two putt...putts/gir 2...total putts 2 up next: Hole 3...364yds par 4 The short par-4 third hole requires an accurate tee shot to avoid fairway bunkers dotting the right side of the hole. A good drive will leave a short iron approach to a tiered green protected in front by bunkers. The double green is shared with Hole No. 7.

hole three...364yd par 4...Birdie...-3...T31...Whoop DEEEEE Dooooooo suzann...birdie...-2...T41 natalie...bogey...-4...T23 hit the fairway...fairways hit 2 of 2 hit the green...gir 2 of 3 one putt...putts/gir 3...total putts 3 up next: Hole 4...363yds par 4 You need to carry a pot bunker that sits in the middle of the fairway with your drive on the par-4 fourth hole. The approach shot is downhill to a green surrounded by bunkers. The back-right portion of the green is sloped downhill and can be used to funnel the ball close if the pin is cut there.
yesterday...Par...missed the fairway...hit the green and two putt...today, let's hit the fairway and attack the pin

hole four...363yd par 4...Par...-3...T31... suzann...par...-2...T42 natalie...par...-4...T22 missed the fairway...fairways hit 2 of 3 hit the green...gir 3 of 4 two putt...putts/gir 5...total putts 5 up next: Hole 5...569yds par 5 The first par-5 on the Senator is one of the longest and most difficult holes on the Trail. At 681 yards from the tips, three well-struck shots are needed to find the green in regulation. The green is perched well above the fairway and falls away on all sides.

The tiered green is angled away from the fairway meaning the hole plays more difficult the further back the flag is cut.

hole six...349yd par 4...Birdie...-4...T23...Wow...Whoop DDDEEEE DDD00000000 suzann...birdie...-3...T35 natalie...birdie...-6...T14...This group is playing some good golf missed the fairway...fairways hit 3 of 5 hit the green...gir 5 of 6 one putt...putts/gir 8...total putts 8 up next: Hole 7...167yds par 3 It is wise to take extra club off the tee on the par-3 seventh hole because the green sits high above the fairway and any shot that comes up short will leave a tough chip to save par. A ridge runs through the middle of the green so knock it close to avoid a difficult putt.
yesterday...Par...hit the green and two putted Michelle, it's time to take advanage of these par 3's

hole seven...167yd par 3...Par...-4...T24 suzann...par...-3...T36 natalie...par...-6...T14 hit the green...gir 6 of 7 two putt...putts/gir 10...total putts 10 up next: Hole 8...496yds par 5 Depending on the wind, the two pot bunkers on the right can sometimes be carried off the tee. Make sure your second shot clears a bunker in the middle of the fairway and you should be left with a great chance for birdie.
yesterday...Birdie...hit the fairway, green and one putt let's birdie these last two holes on the front nine, michelle...then, really attack the back nine

hole eight...496yd par 5...Par...-4...T29 suzann...par...-3...T37 natalie...birdie...-7...T10 missed the fairway...fairways hit 3 of 6 missed the green...gir 6 of 8 chipped...chip saves 2 of 2 one putt...putts/gir 10...total putts 11 up next: Hole 9...376yds par 4 A daring drive can leave you with a wedge for your approach. It could also leave you in a fairway bunker or, worse, the high, thick grass the Senator course is famous for. If the pin is cut in the back of the green you can use a severe slope to funnel the ball close to the cup.

hole nine...376yd par 4...Birdie...-5...T21...Whoop Deeee Doooo Daaaaa suzann..bogey...-2...T48 natalie...par...-7...T10 hit the fairway...fairways hit 4 of 7 hit the green...gir 7 of 9 one putt...putts/gir 11...total putts 12 up next: Hole 10...528yds par 5 Long hitters can reach the green on this par-5 in two if you cut the corner with your drive. The green slopes severely from back to front and right to left, leaving a difficult putt no matter where the hole is located.
yesterday...Birdie...missed the fairway...hit the green and one putt
Ok, michelle, this is the beginning of birdie alley on the back nine.... a lot of birdies on these first 6 holes michelle...yesterday, you missed the fairway...today, let's hit the fairway, and go for the green in two....

A good drive will leave you with a middle iron to a green that is easily accessible.
