from my blog: Malaysian Golfer Jean Chua Gets Last Minute Call To Final Round Of LPGA Q-School Fairways and ForehandsMalaysian golfer Jean Chua thought her 2011 season was over after the 2011 Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia. She was in the late season LPGA event as a sponsor’s exemption. Sime Darby also has a three-year sponsorship deal with Jean, assisting her with obtaining top level coaching and entry fees. Now she has a chance to qualify for the LPGA as a card-carrying member. She missed the cut by 1 stroke in the second stage of Q-school, but was first alternate. When fewer than 144 responded by the October 21st deadline, Jean was in. She will work with her coach Ian Trigg in Australia for 2 weeks to prepare before returning to the United States on November 12th. The 5 day pressure cooker that is LPGA Q-school is scheduled to begin on 11.30.11. Good luck, Jean!
