I spent the last 3 days at the Wegmans in Rochester however I couldn't comment on this forum because I forgot my passwords. In any event I did report over at MyLPGA on Tuesday and I wound up in a no holds bared donnybrook with the Voulchers who love to kick a girl when she's down. OK I did spend most of my time Natalie gawking, but I did spend some time following Michelle and I believe she is one tournament away from a top ten, The putter is just not working, I thought I saw her gripping the putter back-handed and down the shaft. One week off and she will be in my back yard at the Manulife Classic in Waterloo contending for the lead.

I think she hit a tree in the back nine- her first few holes. It doesn't appear she was using a driver. Sure wish I could have seen what happened this round. I think I saw her once when she teed off her first hole and it flew into the rough. From there it was just Cristie.

People are never going to stop talking about Michelle as long as the media writes these articles about her. It's the way of the world. What really gripes them is when she makes positive remarks about her game! And probably the fact that she is graduating from Stanford this coming week! And playing in Canada the week after.

Phew ! I thought I was looking at one of my scorecards there - on a good day....!
Only consolation I can find is that she fought hard to bring in a decent score in the 1st round, even when she wasn't playing very well. Looks like the wheels fell off completely in the second round.
We've seen high scores from Michelle in the past ( remember her famous withdrawal from Anneke's event ? ) and she was able to come back from them. Let's hope she can do so again.
