So just checked Michelle's final score +12. This is a rough one I wonder what was going through her mind. I guess after the first run of bogeys she must of been oh so it's going to be one of those events, where you're just not on your game. It's unfortunate it happened w/ Kia whom she works for.

She's going to really have to brainstorm to figure this out.

This is clearly in her head, so brainstorm is apropos, in my humble opinion.

I am deathly afraid that after being 15-20 shots behind the leaders, that her confidence is going to be shattered. How can she possibly feel good about her game?

The hope is, Kraft is a place she does well, she knows the place, it's in her back yard. If next week is a train wreck, am really worried.

Is anyone else worried that Michelle is 21 shots behind the leader after just TWO rounds?

I just reviewed the stats. There is no part of her game that is in sync.

What do you all think she needs to do? Am I overreacting?

That was painful indeed, nothing seemed to be working.

This may be a crucial moment in her career, and it's come earlier than any of us could have expected. In the past after a disaster like this she could have gone back to Stanford, got back into her studies and social life and put it behind her. Not any more - now she has nothing else to focus on but golf. All she can do is go back to her hotel room and think about her game and what went wrong. Lots of experts have been telling us she'll play better without any distractions - well now we'll find out. So this will tell us a lot about her motivation - does she really want it for herself as much as she always says, or is she really only doing it to please her parents ?

Fortunately the Kraft is next up and she loves it there, so she couldn't have a better chance to turn things around. If she doesn't perform there, then some serious questions will have to be answered.

Hi ya folks...whew...those two rounds by Wiesy sure was painful...both for her and her fans....BUT...that was just a bad tournament for the kid...NO BIGGIE....Narrow Fairways, THICK Rough and Small Greens are just NOT suited for Wiesy's Game right now...BUT I am sure that the kid will REBOUND BIG TIME at the Nabisco

I think this tournament was the WORSE for Wiesy in Both the Putting and GIR department...and the GIR Department usually comes from her Driving accuracy...BUT give the kid a slightly wider Fairway and then EVERYTHING POSITIVE starts to occur....I have a weeWIE feeling that the kid will FORGET about what happened in this Tournament and she will come out SMOKING at the Kraft

anyway...because Wiesy missed the cut...NOW I have MORE time to Finish off Painting my house...GULP

Anyway...Terriffic Job Bobawiefan..and also great job of the other posters chiming in to assist this thread...good JOB everyone

Smiller reported, and I quote:
"Driving was excellent she ended in the right rough a few times but consistently managed good iron shots. Irons, very good distance control, almost no spin on any shots, misses were slightly to the right. Sand play chipping and pitching was also very good."

And Michelle tweeted after her second round, (which suprised me...she generally goes into radio silence after playing poorly), and I quote:
