Hopefully Michelle got some good rest last weekend and is ready for a chance at another major title this weekend. After looking at the weather forecast I'm glad I'm not in Alabama with all that heat and humidity not to mention the thunderstorms.

But after scores of 70,70,70 and 71 for a 7 under total and the win, Michelle will be very glad that she went to Alabama. Good luck to all of you in the contest this weekend and here's hoping Michelle finds Sweet Home Alabama for her second US Open win. :-)

First of all...we get to see 5 hours of
commercial-free U.S. Open play, but nothing
of Michelle in first hour...I think we WILL
see some of her play in the next 4 hours...

the second round....she has to play 8 & 9 and
then finish the back nine......there are at
least 8 birdie holes on the back nine.....so she might
birdie some of them and move up the leader board...

I had the Spirit of '76 in 1976 but lost some of that after Michelle's 76 in R3... but I was happy to hear the Fox Sports folks reporting that Michelle appeared to not be too happy with her play for the first half of the round yesterday and that she turned it around for the final 9 holes and played better... and she did look better even though maybe the scorecard doesn't reflect that...

Hopefully we'll see that improvement for Weezy today... And remember she shot a 65 in the final round in Singapore this year to win the tournament... So let's hope what happened in Singapore it doesn't stay in Singapore.

And Boolaboss still leads at -5 after R3...
