I've looked at past winning scores for this tournament and she needs at least a -14 to win. Depending on the weather - not sure how that will play. So I'm giving her -14 for the WIN! 66 70 69 69 Hope this is the start of more good play after her first tournament - and some wins!  teeshot....... |

Hey I've been trying for a few hours to get a post up and I kept getting an error message from the site I took a screenshot of it just in case. But now I'm back in and actually my scores are very easy for this week. After much thought and research I realize with it being the start to a new season and so far away from home that it's really anyone's guess so I'm going with a hunch and calling 70 70 70 70 for a 280 total and a seventh-place finish. 7 is kind of lucky number and I was kind of born in 70 so that explains my entry. I'm not sure the time difference when the event starts or when Michelle is teeing off but I also have not looked at any of it and my scores were set when I was born LOL. Have a great weekend and excited for 2018!

JUS976 HITS MICHELLE'S -4 68 ON THE HEAD FOR 5-POINT BONUS
WOW....Thank you The Golf Channel for not showing Michelle's
birdie on the 18th hole to get to minus-4 for the first round
and a T-11 finish.....they did show her one-half-inch birdie
misses on the 15th and 17th holes.......which kept Big Wiesy
from finishing at -5 or -6 (tie for the lead)...here are her
stats from round one...FW...11/14...DD...262.50...putts...26...
GIR...12-18...S/S...0/0...Her playing partners for the 2nd
round tomorrow are Ariya Jutanugarn and Japan's Misuzu Narita...

Michelle looked good again and was so close to being another couple shots closer to the lead...especially with that final one-inch par putt that just needed a little ground shake or a good gust of wind to blow in for a birdie! Michelle finished the day at -9 after shooting a 5-under 67 and is T5 heading into Round 3. Of the 4 of us in the contest, 3 people predicted a 70 in the second round and I picked 69...so I was 2 shots off and everyone else was 3 off, so after 2 rounds it looks like this...

For Round 3, Michelle tees off at 11:38 in the morning local time Saturday and is paired with Brook Henderson and Lexi Thompson...WOW what a great group! Keep it up Michelle, and move up from that 5th place Tie to 1st place in the Thai(Honda LPGA Thailand, that is!)

I have to go bowl in a tournament where the proceeds go to fight breast cancer.....so I won't be asble to figure our complicated final scores so
I will do that when I get back......but it is between jus976 and teeshot
with boola and papa WAY behind......

well, I fixed it and jus976 is the easy winner....it's too bad Michelle did not get a birdie or at least a par on the 18th, because that cost her a top 10 finish.....here is our leaderboard......

Yes Boola, she could have done even better except for that last 18th hole.
We've seen tournaments lost over a putt like that. She looked shocked!
It looked like the ball went up and rolled around the hole.
Michelle's stats did improve, so that's a good thing.
She is #1 in "Putting Average" - 25.43 Jessica Korda was second at 27.25
