Hello Wie Nation:  After three rounds of golf…technically it’s still golf…Ok…After three rounds of Michelle Wie golf, (You Got to love Wie Golf) Michelle is a whooping +19...Currently, in 59th place.. next to last…11 strokes ahead of *Sock Hwee, Koh, who is in 60th place and in last place… Michelle is 2 strokes behind her buddy, Christina Kim, who is +17 and in 58th place.. Yesterday’s 3th round of +3 was a big improvement over her first two rounds… Michelle….Let’s shoot for some blue spots on your scorecard…so we can get out of Dodge with a Positive high…and head to Statsville… Early going results: They are only 4 players out of 30 players under par…two players at -2... Michelle, yesterday, you got two birdies on the par 3’s….Today, let’s get some birdies on the par 5’s…. Michelle tees off in about 15 min…. Back later. Go Michelle go |

The Good, The Bad, The Unknown
The bad is obvious. To finish 32 shots behind the winners is shocking. Obviously, there may be many parts to her game that weren't working.
The good (yes wienation, there is good!) is that she showed grit and mental toughness. This was not an easy course. To come back on days 3 and 4 and greatly improve, perhaps a good sign that the first two days were an aberration.
The unknown is why. With no stats, it's hard to pinpoint what went wrong. However, missing the 1 foot putt shown on TV makes me think that it's the flat stick again.
I guess we'll find out soon enough. Back to the US and hopefully better results.
Nice to see young Jenny Shin do well. She hung tough.

Another +3 at least she didn't give another round 1 and 2 performance. Hmm maybe she's truly figured out what was wrong w/ her game. This course did seem really hard paired w/ poor play gives you Michelle's +22.
Let's see what happens next. Fingers Crossed.
