Happy New Year everyone! It's a new year, and barring any sudden emergency surgeries or bee attacks I'm looking for big things on the course from Ms. Wie to start 2018. How about an opening round 67, duplicated in round 2, followed by a 71 and a final round 65 for an 18 under total of 270 good for first place. I get the feeling Michelle has things going well for her all around, but now she is ready to dominate on the course this season like we've all wanted to see for so long. Haters gonna say it's fake, but Michelle is gonna be so real in 2018. Wie, Oui!

Due to the forecast of continued high winds, play has been suspended for the day @puresilklpga.
The tee time for Michelle's group for the second round has changed to 3:15 p.m.
Note: The LPGA has announced that the tournament will be reduced to 54 holes.

Play was suspended at 5:54 pm ET due to darkness. Round 2 will resume at 7 am ET Sunday.

OK lets look at the back nine of round two....we saw a lot of Michelle
today on television...we saw most of the 9 holes she played....she will complete round 2 (front nine Sunday morning at 7 a.m.....then she will get a lunch break and then play round 3 (final round)
She played even par today...with one bogey and one birdie (on the par 5 15th)
..and almost made a birdie on 18....so after play tomorrow.....I will check all
our scores, name our winner, and post a final leaderboard.....

Just a quick update.......Michelle shot a 69 in round 2 and now is tied for eighth plave at -4......just 3 shots from the leader.....AND she just teed off 3 minutes ago from the first tee.....
...MICHELLE HAD PARS ON HER FIRST TWO HOLES IN ROUND 3....HERE ARE HER STATS IN ROUND 2.....FW - 12-14...DD - 277.50...PUTTS - 28...GIR - 14-18...S/S - 0/0

Another update.....Shanshan Feg is leading at-7......and th3 tournament will be televised at 3 p.m. eastern time....so here is our leaderboard after round 2.......

MICHELLE SHOOTS ANOTHER 73; BOOLABOSS WINS....
boolaboss took the lead in the first round and held on to win our first contest this year....at one point today Michelle was T-6 but two late bogeys
dropped her down to a T-11 finish.....she is not playing next week...
