I cant watch anymore. It's a train wreck, sadly. 4 bogeys in first 5 holes (on back 9 to start)... 18 shots behind the leader NYChoi and not even halfway through the second round.
I wonder what's wrong? Her confidence has to be shot. I am worried this will affect her going forward.
Thoughts?

Hello Wie Nation: Watching E T on TV…Watching E T on the computer…beginning to think I’m watching invasion of the body snatchers on the computer; and something has taken over Michelle’s body and was going for a record in straight bogeys on the back nine….Haven’t seen this bad a score card since Michelle’s broke her wrist away back when…. Katie Futcher atop the leader board at -7.. Na Yeon Choi, So Yeon Ryu and Angela Stanford tied at -6. Yani not making a move…Even thru 10...-1 for the tournament…T23. What the rest of the field is doing is irrelevant… Michelle’s +5 on the back nine, and +12 for the tournaments…started T59...now T61 with Christina Kim…both ahead of Sock by 4 strokes who’s in last place…. Back nine results Par 3’s…0 pars…0 birdies…2 bogeys. Par 4’s…2 pars…0 birdies…3 bogeys. Par 5’s…2 pars…0 birdies…0 bogeys Back later with front nine and final results. Got to love wie golf bobawiefan

Hello Wie Nation: E T…What an excellent movie!…Too bad, I can’t say the same about Michelle’s second round, or first round…Looking at her score card, the only positive I can find is that without the red blemish, Michelle would have had a pretty orange scorecard. For round two, Michelle is +9....Michelle started the round tied for 59th with a +7 and is currently +16...T61 Front nine results: Par 3’s…1 pars…0 birdies…0 bogeys…1 triple bogeys. Par 4’s…4 pars…0 birdies…1 bogeys. Par 5’s…2 pars…0 birdies…0 bogeys. Round two results: Par 3’s…1 pars…0 birdies…2 bogeys…1 triple bogeys. Par 4’s…6 pars…0 birdies…4 bogeys. Par 5’s…4 pars…0 birdies…0 bogeys. I do know this…In the past, Michelle has had some ugly score cards and has always bounced back….and I’m confident she will bounce back…If not in this tournament…then the next. Got to love wie golf bobawiefan

It may be that Michelle is not feeling well. No tweets about her rounds! Checked Christina Kim's tweets and she had to see a Dr. They didn't give her an IV, just electolytes (sp) and a nap. So Michelle may be feeling the same way. A combination of weather, school work, health. I have not seen her drive the ball yet, just a chip and a couple of putts.

Michelle is paired with Paige Mackenzie and Ryann O’toole in the third round, and they tee off at 5:53pm…PST…8:53pm…EST…From the back nine…2nd from last group.. got to love wie golf bobawiefan

Well, she could have withdrawn... but she didn't. Might as well work on that putter - makes sense to me. Wiefan says she's no quitter. I think it's just a combination of things. Maybe it's time for a new coach!

Well I managed to login thanks JCD.
I wish I entered this forum under different conditions. Michelle is having some seriously bad rounds it's so bad it makes you thing something is physically wrong has she said anything? She needs to straight up forget about these rounds and say just start fresh play whatever head game she has to in order to wipe the slate clean.
Hmmm I don't know whether I want this to be a physical or mental problem whatever she can recover from the best.

Enough with the panic posts, this is just a perfect storm for Michelle, she is rusty, her putting is a work in progress, the Merah course is short, with lots of water which does not play to any of her strengths and finally the greens are severely undulated and very very fast, probably 13 on the stimpmeter, think Augusta Masters or similar to Oakmont a few year ago. Only the best putters in the world will do well on that course...
Michelle will complete all four rounds no matter what , it would be easy to find a reason to quit but she is resiliant and will use this situation as a motivator to go forward.

Michelle's play certainly isn't pretty these past two weeks, but I want to compare it to Phil Michelson's first two tournaments (Michelle's may be a bit worse) whereby he missed a cut and did poorly in the other. The following tournament he came back to win and almost won the week after that, just lost in the playoff. Let's see if Michelle can have the same comeback as Phil. I think she can. Just needs to forget about the putting and concentrate on the rest of the game. A good drive and approach will take the tension away.
