Hello Wie Nation:  I can’t help it…I’m excited….first round underway….mostly cloudy….40% chance of rain, rain, thunder and lightning…four hours of TV…Get to see some Wie golf…50% chance of thunder and lightning from Michelle...I’m diffidently excited…. Early going…7 under par at -1...thru 3 to 5 holes notables:…Nordquist, Stanford… 30 players have teed off… Michelle tees off in about 25 min… Will be back to post the front nine results… Go michelle go bobawiefan |

Hello Wie Nation:  WHOA ….Looks like a rain out…Glad I’m not doing play by play comparison…Instead of being subjective to abuse, I can be objective to abuse….BIG difference…+3 thru 4.…wow…and I’m not talking about our latest member Wowfan1... No offence wowfan1...Michelle’s digging a hole….Back nine appears…I say back nine appears to be easier…13 out of 18 player on the back nine are under par…Hope Michelle’s hole doesn’t fill up with rain on the front nine…. Golf is being played...
Not good so far...
Is it rust? Is it travel?
Hard to say, but looks like a repeat of earlier play.

Hello Wie Nation: Michelle is going to need two buckets on the back nine….+4...T57 Front nine results: Subjective----- I’m involved and can’t see the picture of what is going on inside of the picture of Michelle‘s golf game…Like Teeshot’s post of the diamonds…first picture…subjective…the ladies are looking at Morgan with longing expressions… Objective…..I’m not involved and the emotions are not so intense…and I get a clearer picture…in the second picture…the ladies are objective and see their reflection in the diamonds with a classic pose. Anyway…Ueda leads with -5...Stanford with -4...Na yeon Choi with -4... 24 players under par… Ai is -1.…Paula is +1.. Michelle bogeyed the par 4 hole 1.…bogeyed the par 3 hole 3...bogeyed the par 4 hole 4...bogeyed the par 5 hole 9. Par 3’s…1 pars…0 birdies…1 bogeys. Par 4’s…3 pars…0 birdies…2 bogeys. Hello Wie Nation: Final: Michelle….+7...T59 Stanford leads with -6...then Ueda, Choi, and Yang at -4 Paula at -1...Ai at -3 Of note : Yani at -1 Michelle bogeyed the par 4's ...12th...17th and 18th holes.. Laid my head on the railroad track…waiting for the Robert E Lee…poor …poor …pitiful meeeee… Do you realize that in any given time a train travels in only one direction… And Michelle is traveling in only one direction…She is traveling forward…and like any train…It appears Michelle is going up a short or long incline…..and I like to think it’s a short incline…. In the pro-am pictures…I noticed that Michelle and Morgan Pressel were the only ones with puffy eyes….like they hadn’t gotten any sleep…. Morgan a wedding? Michelle’s finals? ? I don’t know….But, I like to think it’s a short incline….Finals… Not going to comment on the wedding…. Back nine results: Par 3’s…2 pars…0 birdies…0 bogeys. Bobawiefan, where you able to see any of Michelle's shots or putting? I saw a brief showing of her heading to her putt on the 9th hole but no actual putting. I'm wondering if she is using the belly putter. Michelle was the only golfer not to par the 9th hole.
The focus is only on a few groups.
Watching the tournament replay. Just saw Michelle land her ball onto the 18th green. It looked ok, a little far back for a safe birdie.
Along the edge. Paula hit right in front of her.
Michelle's ball rolled past the hole about 2 feet, with her next putt her ball lipped out for a bogey. Her putting stroke looked ok from what I could see. Her putter looks long, not sure if it's a belly one. Paula got a birdie. Ai putted last since she was closer to the hole and got her birdie.

Hello Wie Nation: I feel good…and now, “The rest of the story” Michelle’s experimenting before she makes her final decision as to what putter she is going to use…The long putter or the short putter? Back in Sept. of last year..(if I recall), Michelle went to the long putter and used it to the end of last year…This year, She surprised everybody by going with the short putter,….at least for her first two tournaments so far this year. Last year, Michelle said that the long putter suited her game….Then why the short putter this year? ….My answer….. Michelle wanted to be sure before making a decision; and she used the short putter this year under tournament conditions to evaluate and compare the two putters to find out which putter most suited her game. How long will it be before she decides??? I don’t know…After this tournament,….according to her schedule ( which is incomplete and don’t make sense) is the RR Donnelley….Her game from tee to green is still solid or almost solid…and when she finally makes her decision as to what putter she will be using….her putting will be solid…and this is why am feeling good and why I feel good about Wie golf… Got to love wie golf bobawiefan |
