If you’re wondering what…(No thinking…lol lol) is all about; you have to go to Michelle’s humor in the potpourri thread and view my last post. (the preceding advertisement was pre-paid by tickle my funny bone, and is no reflection upon the thinking nature of the author)… ;D ;D ;D

Anyway…
Reflecting on Michelle’s three round performance, and her inconsistent playing, I have to cut Michelle some slack…This is her first tournament of the year….She’s doing homework…And she’s into the final month of her college career…This has to be a heavy weight on Michelle’s mind; and she has said that she has mixed emotions about her last year in collage….It was suppose to take six years to get her degree…Michelle had done it in five…a heavy load…and as I see it…what Michelle has done in the last five years is quite an accomplishment…in college and on the golf course…
It is as if the 10 birdies and the 10 bogeys is a reflection on the last five years of Michelle’s career…And after March 18, when college is over, I expect the balance of scales to swing (Big Time) in the favor of birdies…

Michelle is paired with Eun-Hee Ji, and they tee off from hole 1 at 6:33pm Pst…

After nine holes, Michelle is +2 for the final round…At the beginning of this round, Michelle was tied for 36 with a score of Even par...Currently tied for 45th place with a +2.
Michelle bogeyed the par 5 1st hole…bogeyed the par 4 2nd hole…bogeyed the par 5 7th hole and birdied the par 4 9th hole…
At the turn, there are 16 players under par out of 58 players on the course.
Mattew is -3 for the low score.
Front nine totals:
Par 3’s…2 pars…0 birdies…0 bogeys…fair. no bogeys
Par 4’s…3 pars…1 birdies…1 bogeys…fair. broke even
Par 5’s…0 pars…0 birdies…2 bogeys…ugly. and

Bobawiefan you are TOO nice to say it........so I WILL!.........how could Mike Whan let an official LPGA tournament take place with NO stats of ANY kind?.........I mean this is bush league...........I KNOW Michelle was in one bunker at least.........because I saw a photo of her hitting out of it........it was on the par-5 first hole Sunday..........and Michelle had a bogey there........so the bunker probably caused it.......but it could have been a poor putt also......we will never know.........does Singapore give out any stats.........I do not remember.........but I don't think so.........Michelle shot a 73-71-77-74 = 296 there for a T-40 finish........all rounds in the 70s..........but then again 50 of the 63 golfers did the same thing!!..........so are we all going to give her all 70s in our mini scoring contest..........you know me and wiefan will NOT....for sure.........

Apparently it is not the same there in that there are, first, language issues. Second, bringing all the LPGA tournament staff like a US event, cost prohibitive. Remember, this tour is still struggling to get itself back up, so relying on the local Association does have its challenges. That said, your frustration with the stats - after we have waited so long to have her play - is understandable.

I find the people at Lpga.com to be first class…Every time I’ve e-mailed them, I’ve received an answer…

This live scoring sucks. And I'am sure that their are thousands of lpga fans that will agree with me.
My only link to Lpga tournaments it live scoring. It's like a radio broadcast of what's transpiring on the golf course.
No information, No highlights of favorite players. Can't track them.
Where’s live streaming?
It's frustrating. I love the Lpga. But your going to lose me, and I believe thousands like me, who follow the Lpga.

Thank you for your interest in the LPGA. We appreciate your feedback and I would love to know how you think we could improve our scoring. And from this, I am inclined to believe that No live scoring from overseas has to be more toward legal issues and contract obligations…..Especially in foreign countries.
I’m not sure…Just a guess…
And yes…It is frustrating….Especially when Michelle does poorly and we don’t get to see her on weekend TV coverage…and without live scoring or weekend TV coverage…We got nothing.

Is it possible for you to please switch live scoring from Lpga final qualifying tournament back to 2011 tournaments.
When there is no TV, I do play by play from your live scoring board of what Michelle wie is doing on the course on Michelle Wie Central, a Wie Fan club site.
I did not get a chance to copy Michelle’s stats, “fairways, greens, putts, etc.“ from live scoring before you put live scoring for the Lpga final qualifying tournament.
I could sure use the stats for the upcoming 2012 season..
“Michelle Wie Central. com” is a big fan of Michelle and a big fan of the Lpga.

And the tournament stats came back to live scoring….I am sure they’re aware of the problem of no overseas live scoring and doing the best of what they can or can not do…

To me, this is a real class by the people of Lpga.com…

But anyway…it’s still frustrating…
Boobaboss there were no stats from Singapore last year…But maybe we’ll get lucky this year…maybe, Singapore will have live stats…Or maybe Michelle will fire off four good rounds of golf and she’ll be on weekend TV…Or maybe…maybe…maybe
