Hello Wie Nation:  Wiefan, Teeshot and Wiesyfan, thank you for the kudos…  After thinking it over…lol lol lol.. ;D ;D ;D After Michelle had an excellent solid back nine, I have to be there to see how she does in the third round…at least for the front nine… Michelle tweeted: Michelle Wie@themichellewie That was a bit better!! Stilll gotta keep improving.. .If she can improve on the back nine she had yesterday, I want to be there…even tough there are no stats… I watched the golf channel this morning; and I was impressed with the TV coverage, and especially the play of the Lpga players…Got to see some excellent golf by the ladies…there were some fantastic golf shots… No Michelle coverage…bummer.  Karrie Webb finished atop the leader board at -11...3 strokes ahead of Jiyai Shin and Na Yeon Choi Michelle is at -1...T28...10 strokes back of Webb... Michelle is paired with Dewi Schreefec and Hee Youny Park, and they tee off from the 1st tee at 7:07pm…Pst. Tonight…in about an hour… They are teeing off from the 1st and 10th tee. Storms in the area… I looked at the Bangkok weather report for Sat, and it doesn’t look good.. 50 to 60% chance of rain, thunder and lighting all day… I looked at the weather satellite report, and it didn’t look good for all of Thailand.. On the par 4's...let's hit the fairway...let's hit the green and one putt...
If you miss the fairway, you're going be be struggling to make par...coming out of the rough with short and med iron makes it hard to make par...

Well Wie Nation, on the front nine, michelle had 8 pars and one birdie...Michelle started the round T28 and at the turn is T25...on the front nine, Michelle is -1, but only picked up 3 spots.
A small improvement...but still an improvement.
but still, a bogey free front nine...maybe a big improvement.
let's burn up the back nine better than yesterday, let's go for a -5 or a -6 michelle

Hello Wie Nation: After three rounds of golf, Michelle has 10 birdies and 10 bogeys…She’s doing something right when she gets a birdie…But, she’s doing something wrong when she gets a bogey…This is obvious…But, we have no idea what she is doing right or wrong without stats. This too is obvious. For round 3, Michelle was 1 over par. Michelle started the 3rd round with a -1 and was tied for 28th place. After the 3rd round, Michelle was E par and is currently tied for 37th place. On the back nine, Michelle had a bogey on the par 4 13th hole…a birdie on the par 4 15th hole…a bogey on the par 3 16th hole…and a bogey on the par 4 17th hole… Totals: Par 3’s…3 pars…0 birdies…1 bogeys. Bad Par 4’s…7 pars…1 birdies…2 bogeys. Bad Par 5’s…3 pars…1 birdies…0 bogeys. Below fair…but not bad. After three rounds of golf and 10 birdies and 10 bogeys, the only thing I can conclude is that her play is still inconstant. Got to love Wie golf bobawiefan |
