Michelle will stay in Scotland for her next tournament, the Ricoh
Women's British Open.....Aug. 3-6 in Fife....it is held at the Kingsbarns
Golf Links....now we all have to predict Wiesy's scores on another links
course....the only stat I did not like in her last tournament was her
putting....33, 33, 29 and 34....and even the 29 led to a 73......OK
let's get our scores in and get this contest started....

Well, we saw what happened last week.... The weather takes over the course, of course! So, I'm being conservative with Michelle's scores this week. 69 70 69 70 But she Wins!  late note... according to LPGA rain and wind are forecast for all four tournament days! |

One if by land, two if by the North Sea, three cheers for Michelle Wie! The weather will vary and likely even out for all, but just like the real Golden Girls, these ladies will mostly be in the 70s this Wiekend... 72, 72, 71, 73 for an even par 288 and a 7th place finish. Good luck ladies and remember to cover up!

WOW, WOW, WOW!!!....MICHELLE IS LEADING THE RWBO AT MINUS 8
SHE SETS COURSE RECORD WITH A 64; CHARGEPADS LEADS OUR CONTEST
I had to wait until everyone had finished to make sure Michelle
was still ahead....and she STILL IS!.....AND the golf channel
announcers explained how she does it....Karen Stupples told how now
Wiesy can hit her approach shots low and get them closer to the
flag...that sets up easier birdie putts.....her stats today.....
FW - 13/14...putts - 27 and Gir 17/18.....are just what one needs
to shoot an eight-under-par.....IN A MAJOR.....

Wow I was pleasantly shocked yet not surprised to wake up and check lpga.com and see Michelle kicking a**! I was listening to my favorite music from the Beatles and my favourite Paul McCartney... And some of Paul's biggest and best songs are "Michelle," "When I'm 64," and "Mull of Kintyre" which is his best-selling single and a song written about Scotland. I'm very superstitious when it comes to sports and these things all fit together nicely as part of Michelle Wie's first - round soundtrack!
We shall see whether this Scottish weekend remains a Magical Mystery Tour and leads Michelle, my belle, down the Long and Winding Road to another major victory. Lots more golf "Coming Up" so go get 'em Michelle!

I got 7 hours of sleep and will be able to see all of Wiesy's 18 holes live.....
but right now I just saw Michelle and she is wearing a white top, white cap and black trousers as she makes her way to her tee shot area....she is one shot behind
Lexi and Georgia Hall, an English woman, who are tied for the lead at -9, one
shot ahead of Wiesy, who has 18 holes to play.....if she shoots a 68, she would lead
the top 2 by 3 strokes.....

After 5 holes Michelle is -6......so what is the old saying?.....it is very hard to
shoot a good round after shooting a course record in the first round......just founf out that lexi was +2 on her first round today.....

TEESHOT GOES FROM 3RD TO FIRST WITH 5 BONUS POINTS
MICHELLE IS NOW T-13 (-7) AFTER SHOOTING A -3 69
The 3rd round is over in Scotland and Michelle is now
at -7 and 10 shots behind leader In-Kyung Kim at -17
with 18 holes to play tomorrow....Michelle shot a
-3 69 today and teeshot and boolaboss picked that score
to win a 5-point bonus....
