OK, Michelle's only major she has won.....and her pairing for the first and second
round looks pretty good....Suzann Pettersen and Brittany Lincicome....remember that Michelle WON in 2014 with a score of -2.....we are going to be able to see it on TV
a lot....so get your scores in....and we can all look forward to a great tournament

The scores for the "Open" always seem to be low - could be because it's hard to win?!?
When Michelle won the "Open" in 2014 she was the only player under par at -2 and Stacy Lewis finished at Even.
There is a possibility of rain, well, we've had plenty of that in the North East! That could change scores.
Anyway, I'm giving her 68 69 69 70 and a WIN!!!

The location for this week's tournament unfortunately put folks like Michelle into uncomfortable positions such as she obviously was in yesterday during interviews. But she did well fielding questions and is publicly remaining focused on golf and following that lead I will do the same here and Reserve any political commentary for the ballot box instead of the contest inbox.
With that said I'm predicting a 70, 69, 73, 71 for 5 under total and 3rd place. Good luck to Michelle and to the contestants here. And good luck to all the players who hopefully will keep the focus on the quality of the LPGA athletes this weekend and not allow the course owner to grab undeserved attention or anything else.

21 players have already posted under-par scores in the early group this morning
.......and now that our contest is set with 5 players......I looked at our scores..
...and found that of the 20 scores we posted......13 of them have a big "7" included......WHAT?.......OH, WELL....we just have to wait and see........after we will have 28 hours of coverage to look at......

INJURED MICHELLE SHOOTS 73...JUS976 LEADS OUR CONTEST BY 2 POINTS
Michelle injured her neck in the final round of the PGA major....
and we do not find out until today.....you would have thought she
could have that corrected ny now.....so her 73 was pretty good
today....but what about tomorrow?....

Michelle played one hole in 2nd round, made a Bogey and withdrew from the tournament.
She said yesterday that her neck would seize up and that was the problem.
She also said it wasn't due to her accident just that she had a long neck
and this happens.

Michelle also said that would be ready to play in the women's open in Scotland and the Ricoh Women's British Open the next week.......

Just a reminder.... Michelle will not be playing in the Marathon Classic next week.
Scotland tournament it will be when we see her again - July 27-30. Time to rest and get well.
