Michelle is in this one - for SURE!.....they showed Wiesy making a birdie and
celebrating.....and then named her as one of the LPGA stars who will play in
Grand Rapids, Mich......(I have relatives from there).....

With all the tragedies in the news day after day it's nice to divert one's attention to something much more pleasant like ladies golf. And it will get more pleasant today when Michelle opens with a 64, falling back to a 70 when the short game fails her a bit in round two, but closing with 67 and 69 for a total of 14 under in second place.
Let's go, Wie can do it! =)

MICHELLE SHOOTS -3 68; TEESHOT & BOOLABOSS TIED FOR LEAD AT -1
I thought I had a 5-point bonus.....but alas, I forgot this is a par 71 event....and
all I got was a tie with teeshot for first at -1.....Wiesy did have one outstanding
stat....16 of 18 GIRs......and one not so good stat....5 of 13 fairways hit.....her driving distance was good at 262 yards......

TEESHOT EARNS 5-POINT BONUS TO TAKE 6-POINT LEAD
MICHELLE SHOOTS ANOTHER 68 AND IS NOW T-13
Wiesy hits 15 greens in regulation....and has 29 putts...
she ties Lexi at -3 and beats other playing partner Lydia Ko by 3 shots....her playing
partners in round 3 are Aditi Ashok and Jessica Korda.....They tee off at 11:20 ET

MICHELLE IS ONLY 4 SHOTS FROM LEAD AT -11; TEESHOT IS COASTING TO A WIN!
teeshot is 7-points ahead and looks almost impossible to catch, but you
never can tell.....Michelle's stats were very good today, except putts at 30
....she had FH at 9-12, DD at 269 and GIRs at 16-18....0-0 for SS......

MICHELLE FINISHES T-2 AT -15; TEESHOT AND BOOLABOSS TIE FOR CONTEST WIN
In a very close contest, teeshot and boolaboss tied for our contest win at..
-7....papawuf was only one point behind as he got 5 points for picking Wiesy
to finish 2nd....too bad she had 10 straight pars at the end......two of her
birdie putts finished a few inches from the cup.....and it has to be a good
sign when she finished 3rd and T-2 in her last 2 events with two majors
coming up soon.....
