Michelle is in her 2nd straight event in Asia starting Thursday.......so get those scores in and we can hope that Michelle
as good or better than she did last week.......She had made over 60 thousand dollars in 22 events this season so making
over 38 thousand last week.......should give her some confidence this week......

Just checked her scores from 2013 and they seem about right for Michelle.
71 66 71 69 - -7
She can always fool us and get the WIN so I'm going with the WIN!!!
She's playing with her friends, having fun! And that's important!

Good start here last year and a Top 10 last week so I hope Michelle is as confident as I am in her game right now. I predict 68...71...68...70...for a minus 7 and another top 10 finish in a tie for 9th place. =)

OK......here are my scores.......70, 69, 68, 67 = -10 and the WIN........still don't know who her caddie is.....
...to be fair to our members, teeshot, we have to give her scores from last year - 66, 72, 69, 76 - -1......
....and a finish of T-42......maybe she was injured in that final round......does anyone know what kind of equipment she is using now.....is it all PING?......

MICHELLE SHOOTS -5 66; PAPAWUF LEADS OUR CONTEST BY ONE POINT
OK.....tell me who would have thought Michelle would shoot a 66 in the first round?.....our rookie picked her for a 68.....and he is leading our contest by a point over teeshot......Michelle had SIX birdies and only one bogey to shoot her 66......she hit 13 of 14 fairways......had 15 of 18 greens in regulation.....28 putts a DD of 257.50 and was 0/0 in sand saves.......there are a few golfers still on the course as I type this.......so let's just say that Michelle is close to the LEAD!!!

Here is a follow-up report as to Michelle's finish on the leader board......she is -5 and T-3.......and will be in the final pairing tomorrow with the leader, Amy Yang at -8 and American Marina Alex, 2nd place, at -6......they will tee off at 9:56 Malaysia time.....here is a short story from the LPGA - "Coming off her best finish of the season, a tie for 10th at the Blue Bay LPGA, Michelle Wie fired a season low round of 66 to sit three shots back at the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia.
"I just had fun out there today,"Wie said. "I love playing with Marina, she's a reallly good friend of mineand she was playing great today, andjust kind of feeding off each other's energy" Prior toBlue Bay last week, Wie hadn't played since the Evian Championship and spent her time off trying to get healthy.
"just kept my body right,"Wie explained. "Just really took time off and really tried to get healthy again. I did a lot of rehab and just practiced and tried to play a lot."

Michelle had a different caddy for Malasia tournament.
I could not tell what driver she was using but her putter had a blue and white grip and the name Odyssey.

WOW!!...A QUAD ON HER FINAL HOLE OF R3.....JUS976 TIES PAPAWUF FOR LEAD IN OUR CONTEST They didn't say anything on TV about the quad, teeshot?.......Maybe it was 2 times in the water.....but that was really a bad time to do it.......she had just gotten her score to minus 8.......and I think that was the first time this she had reached that number......R3 stats....FW = 9/14...GIR = 14/18....Putts = 32....S/S = 1/2....
