TEESHOT AND JUS976 TIED FOR LEAD; MICHELLE SHOOTS -2 69
Did Michelle put it all together today?.....well, not quite.....but she did have 2 good stats......266 DD....and 14 of 18 GIR.....teeshot and jus976 both had Michelle with a 70....and are tied for first place at -1....
boolaboss is in 3rd place at -2.....

michelle shoots a plus-6 77 in round 2..... NO CONTEST!!!! In the second round Michelle increased her driving distance but it did not help her fairways and greens. First Round DD - 262.00 Second Round DD - 281.50 Whether that has anything to do with her round it's hard to say....unless we see her play. The Crosswinds were causing a problem for the players. I did see Michelle hitting onto the 17th hole green where she got her lone Birdie. Her putt looked just fine. We have to be patient until she works out her game. On the 18th Michelle was putting for a Birdie and it just skimmed the edge and curved past for a par. Not a lip out but almost went in the hole, so other than that Michelle looked fine. So maybe the crosswinds just played havoc with her game. = |

wow!!!!! I really have no idea what's wrong with her game. I know she's going through swing changes, but I see no improvement. Think it's time to search different alternatives. This swing is NOT working.

I do agree with you jus976, her game is so inconsistent that she can't string two good rounds in a row. My guess is her mind is not with golf in spite of what she's saying publicly.

Well Boola, caddie is only part of the problem I suppose. At this point of Michelle's career, she should be able to make decision on her own, and not rely too much on her caddie's advise. Why are you shouting by the way?

I agree Chargepads, I think she has too many off course obligations. She needs to focus more on golf. Some top players use family members that don't even play golf. Caddies are over rated. she needs to hit fairways and greens. That's when she will improve. Let's hope it's soon.
