Hello Wie Nation:
Here are three predictions from three golf writers about Michelle’s 2012 season.
JAMES ACHENBACH, senior writer
3. How many wins will Lexi Thompson have on the LPGA tour?
Michelle Wie graduates from Stanford, has a breakout year (as in breaking out of college), dominates the LPGA Tour. Lexi Thompson runs into the teenage jinx, fails to win.

. Michelle Wie graduates: Wie’s time at Stanford will come to a close in March. She’ll walk in June. Hard to say what graduating will do to Wie’s game. She’ll be more focused on the tour, which could lead to more victories. But she’ll also miss the creative outlet and independence that Stanford offered. It will be an interesting year of transition for the graduate

Q: Will career schoolgirl Michelle Wie finally graduate this year?
A: Yes. She is set to finish up at Stanford in March and attend the graduation ceremony in June – unless she flunks her last calculus class or triple bogeys the last hole at the Kraft Nabisco.
Michelle has finals Mar 19-23 which coincide with:
Mar. 15-18.
RR Donnelley LPGA Founders Cup.
and
Mar. 22-25.
Kia Classic.
For five years, Michelle has talk the talk for education. For five years, Michelle has walk the walk for education; and now, in June, Michelle will walk for her diploma.
Graduation is June 16-17 and there is no golf tournament on that weekend.
In Michelle’s last six tournaments, her score’s have progressed from a miss cut to T68 to T35 to T18 to T9 to T12; and I think that progression will continue; and I say Michelle will win two tournaments and ONE Major.
It’s time for Michelle to talk the talk and walk the walk for her golfing career.
