Of course, it's widely known that Michelle speaks English and Korean. Lots of hardcore LPGA fans know she speaks some Japanese as well. I had heard that she was studying Mandarin. Unfortunately, even though the above picture is large, the writing is so small...with the thin writing...for me to make out the characters...especially on the first line...but the second line says "ni hao" (hello)...I think...hard to make out that first character...hope there is another photo where I can more clearly see the characters. ...but that makes me wonder...as big as she is in the United States, she has a huge following in Asia...I could possibly see her being an actress in Asia if for some reason she retired early...or maybe even in her off time, if she chose to pursue that... ...this was following the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia...guess she hopped a quick plane after her round...

Here is Michelle in a Japanese commercial a few years ago:
...and on a Korean show several years ago...
...hmmm...then 17-year old Michelle seemed quite smitten with Lee Seung Gi! ;D

Good luck with this forum Bobby. I hope it is a great success. How the heck did you make time for this given how many blogs you generate each day? There is always much to talk about concerning Michelle's career, but she certainly is an interesting person off the course. She has so many different facets to her personality.

Besides Michelle, I know Paula Creamer has a big fan base in Japan from what I've heard. I think Natalie Gulbis also to some degree.
And of course, I'd be remiss if I did not mention Morgan Pressel, who is liked in Japan and also was fortunate enough to win the 2010 Salonpas Cup there. Na Yeon Choi got a much deserved win this past week given how consistent she plays.

Michelle did some noodle cup commericals also, which were kindof cute and funny. I don't think Michelle has played in Japan since the Japanese men's event she played in about 5 years ago. Hopefully, once school is over she'll be able to start playing the Mizuno and other Japanese events.

I loved those noodle commercials...the music is so dramatic for a noodle commercial! ;D I assume it's Michelle speaking Japanese at the end of the commercials (both are in the following video)
