Hello Wie Nation:  Finally posted Michelle’s stats.  Missing the KIA Classic, The Solhiem Cup and the Omega Masters. I think the Kia Classic stats are lost…But you never know. The Solhiem Cup and the Omega Masters should reappear when LET finishes updating their site. I think we have a lot of good information for future references. But, we are missing two important stats. Putts per green in regulation tournament by tournament….The Lpga only has total putts per green in live scoring. And the distance to the pin stat after Michelle hit’s the green….5 feet, 10 feet, or 20 feet. The Lpga has never had this stat like the Pga …But you never know.  Hello Katai; Thank you Bob! Hello Wie Nation: The 2011 Solhiem cup is now posted in statistics... Still waiting on the Omega Masters results from the LET. The lpga live scoring is gone...and too, the Kia Classic stats. But you never know. Waiting for Michelle to post her schedule... got to love wie golf |

Hello Wie Nation: After studying Michelle’s Lpga and tournament stats, I found three interesting stats. Michelle’s total putts per round for 14 tournaments was 430.63. Her average putts per round comes to 30.759. Michelle’s scoring average is 71.94 or Par. Since Michelle is shooting par per round of golf, I conclude that the average 30.759 total putts per round can be used as a mean value or gauge to assume how Michelle is doing in a round of golf when there are no stats. In the upcoming two tournaments for Michelle, we will have only the scoring stat. If Michelle shoots under par, I can assume her putting has improved…If Michelle shoots over par, I can assume her putting has not improved. When we have the stats, we include her GIR of 0.697%. Which is a mean average of 12.55 greens per round. Now, we have a mean average for score,”72”…a mean average for average total putts per round, “30.759 “…and a mean average for greens per round, “12.55”…. In one round of golf, when the score, total greens per round, and total putts per round are posted; any deviation from these three means, should give us a picture of what is going on with Michelle’s golf game. There probably will be exceptions. Michelle’s mean average for fairways hit is, “8.3” per 14 fairways. Can’t wait for her first tournament with stats so I can test the above concept. Thanks for the stats! Can't wait until next week. Hope all the practicing Michelle has been doing will pay off. Looks like her putting and scoring average need to improve.
