p.s. -- loved the henna tattoos. I noticed one of the players kept theirs on during the tourney. Wonder if Michelle did too.

Yeah, what happened on the second hole? Not sure if they showed it. I recorded the final round, but haven't watched it yet. It's too bad she had a terrible day. She could have placed in the top ten with just an even par round. Oh well a top 20 isn't too bad.

All they said on TV was that Michelle had a few early bumps in her round........and NOTHING else..........they never mentioned the snowman.........but maybe we can figure this out by using common sense.........the 2nd hole is an island hole and has water (called a pond) in front and a little on the back right.......to show how difficult it was here is the description of the hole:......."the green is well protected by the bunkers surrounding the surface and the rocky stream short. Many difficult hole locations are available which will require an exceptionally precise approach shot. Be careful of too much backspin to left hole locations, which are well protected by the pond. The green has many elevation changes, which will make long putts difficult".........so it looks to me like Michelle went into the water twice.....and that would account for the snowman..........and for those who don't know.......the winner N Y Choi........had a double-bogey on that hole........the only blemish on her scorecard.........the only blemish on Yani's scorecard was a bogey on the 2nd hole.........and we all know that Michelle was probably trying to birdie every hole.........as she was six-shots down when she started the round.........I don't think she was playing it safe on any hole........she was going for the WIN.........NOT a top 10 finish!...........

That reminds me of Seve when he four putted a hole at the Masters, and they asked him what happened. His reply..... "I miss. I miss. I miss. I make." ;D

However I'm glad she did at least hang in there to get a top 20, even with the 8. I was just hoping for more.
