On the par 5 sixth hole, the par was changed to a bogey...michelle had four bogeys on the front nine...but the stats didn't change...will wait to see if the stats change

Hello Wie Nation:  Going to leave stats as is...maybe michelle gave herself a penality stoke...just a guess  anyway Hole sixteen...par hit the fairway...fairways hit..7 of 13 hit the green...greens hit...13 of 16 dist....  ?...ave. 250.50 two putt...total putts...29 hole seventeen...par hit the green...greens hit...14 of 17 two putt...total putts...31 hole eighteen...par...and final round stats: hit the fairway...fairways hit...8 of 14  missed the green...greens hit...14 of 18...good chipped...total chips...1 of 4...saved par one putt...total putts 32 average dist...250.50 yds back nine stats: fairways hit...4 of 7 greens hit...8 of 9...excellent  chips...1 of 1 putts...14 par 3's...two pars par 4's...four pars...one birdie par 5's...two birdies front nine...four bogeys...minus 4  back nine...three birdies...plus 3...excellent  plus one for the day...at even par started tied for 20th...ended tied for 10th Got to love wie golf bobawiefan |

Hi ya bobawiefan....again...terriffic reporting...you are GOOD!!!...the driving distance on Hole #16 was 253 yards folks...one over par and moves up 10 spots....could have been better, but I will take the MOVE upward...Wiesy got a good break in the tee times today...she didn't have to fight the winds ALL day...just in the latter part of her round...YIKES!!!...and this is when she played her BEST  ...How you figga???  anyway...hopefully she gets to about 4 shots of the leader after Saturday's round...then this could give the kid a good chance of maybe winning with a GREAT Sunday round anyway...again...terriffic Job bobawiefan...I enjoyed your postings...keep it up....go Wiesy go!!! |

 This is probably the happiest I've ever been about a 1-over round...to be 4-over on the front side...this could have really gotten away from her...but she pulled it together on a tough scoring day to get back to 1-over for the round and even overall for 10th place...I'll tell you...I didn't thinks Michelle would be in 10th place overall when she made the turn...but she showed grit hanging in there and fighting back... |
