Hi ya Bobawiefan...TERRIFFIC JOB of reporting....by the way...I think we might be CLONES....last night I was thinking about Wiesy and her Solheim Chances....just like what you reported today....here is my findings
Solheim has 12 members....Eight are selected by their Solheim Points....TWO are selected by their Rolex Rankings...and TWO are Captain's Picks....WieNation, here are my findings as of last night
as of now...Stacy, Kerr, Paula, Angela, Lincicome, Lexi, Lang and Korda have the current top eight slots
now to the Rolex Ranking TWO Picks....as of now....Salas and Morgan occupy those two slots
here are the rankings of the players that hope to make the team via the Rolex
Salas....almost a LOCK because of her great play in this Nabisco Tournament
Morgan = 52nd
Kang = 62nd
Pillar = 64th
Castralle = 74th
Hurst = 78th
Mina = 81st
WIESY = 86th
Johnson = 87th
Futcher = 91st
Natalie = 98th
so WieNation...what does this all mean....simple....Wiesy will JUMP some with her already making the cut in the Nabisco....perhaps not enough to catch Morgan
should Wiesy get into the top 20 at this event....she should jump a little ...she is currently tied with Vicky Hurst at 13th place....the top eight makes it automatically....if Wiesy starts to play well in the events prior to the selection....she has an outside chance of making it through the TOP EIGHT Category
and if Wiesy starts to play well in events prior to the Solheim....her improved Rolex could get her in with the "Two Rolex Selections
all things considered....Wiesy is "Very much in the hunt for one of the two Captain's Pick" regardless....but to bank on this is too "IFFY" a proposition....Wiesy has a good TRACK Record at Solheim Events and this is her strong point with Coach Meg....just my opinion
anyway....that is all I have to say about the Solheim and my opinion....regardless of how Wiesy finishes in this tournament...this is a GREAT TOURNAMENT for the Kid....for sure she is going to move up in the Rolex....this is a BIG PLUS

Michelle twitted just now about how frustrated she was with her weekend play. I see some improvement but her main issue now is her long game. Her drive has to improve to give her a much better chance of making some birdies. Right now, she's scrambling way to often and most of her par putts were of the 4-8 ft variety. She needs to get her drives figured out or she will struggle.
