History: This event began in 1972. It became a major in 1983.
Format: 72 holes

Charity: During the 2012 event, The Kraft Nabisco Championship teamed up with Feeding America and FIND Food Bank of Indio to take a stand against hunger in America. The gift of a new Kraft Foods Mobile Pantry truck will help FIND Food Bank deliver fresh foods to the nearly 80,000 residents of the Coachella Valley who struggle with hunger.
The 2012 Kraft Nabisco Championship ended in dramatic fashion with Sun Young Yoo beating out I.K. Kim in a one-hole playoff for her second career victory and first major championship. After I.K. Kim missed a one-foot par putt on the 18th hole to force a two-player playoff, Yoo hit her approach shot to 20-feet on the first playoff hole and sank the birdie putt to clinch what seemed to be an improbable victory at the season's first major championship.

That is what one of the instructors on the TV program (On the Range) said of Michelle’s golf game…

They showed a few of Michelle’s golf swings, and the instructor said, “That swing is a perfect swing”, and “I can’t understand why she is doing so badly in tournaments”??
“There is noting wrong with her golf swing.”…….

The instructors conclusion was that Michelle had lost her love for the golf game??
