Hole two…409yd par 4 Accuracy again, is the key to this hole, through the narrow avenue of tees. The green is well protected by bunkers surrounding the surface and the rocky stream short. Many difficult hole locations are available which will require exceptionally precise approach shot. Be careful of too much backspin to left hole locations, which are well protected by the pond. The green has many elevation changes, which will make long putts difficult. simedarbylpgamalaysia.com/images/course/Hole02.jpg [/img] Michelle…Par…+4...T53...That had to be a mental victory for michelle Sergas…par…+7...T60 Nicole…par…+4...T53 Up next…hole three…393yd par 4...yesterday Par Go michelle go

Hole three…393yd par 4 Extreme accuracy with the tee shot is essential, with trees on the right and strategically positioned fairway bunkers on the left. The green is elevated and well protected by bunkers. Many tough hole locations are available, therefore position is required with pitch shot. The green is 40 meters wide and an inaccurate approach will face a difficult long putt. simedarbylpgamalaysia.com/images/course/Hole03.jpg [/img] Michelle…Par…+4...T55 Sergas…Par…+7...T60 Nicole…birdie…+3...T49 Up next…hole four…348yd par 4...yesterday Birdie Go michelle go

Hole four…348yd par 4 A real "thinkers" hole - although only a short par 4, many dangers face the aggressor. The exciting risk-reward drive is to drive the ball to the right of the pot bunker, which could see the ball reach the green surface. BEWARE, slight inaccuracy can be disastrous. The green offers many difficult locations, particularly at the rear and on the left which are guarded by the long beach bunker. simedarbylpgamalaysia.com/images/course/Hole04.jpg [/img] Michelle…Bogey…+5...T57 Sergas…birdie…+6...T60 Nicole…par…+3...T46 Up next…hole five…178yd par 3...yesterday Birdie Go michelle go

Hole five…178yd par 3 A solid Par 3 with greens that are well protected by bunkers on the left and right. A poorly hit tee shot may find the thick native grasses well short of the green. Difficult hole locations may be tempting, however as on most Par 3 holes, the centre of the green is the sensible target. Hole six…471yd par 5 Don't be fooled with the apparent width off the tee. It is important to drive the ball as close to the left bunker as possible as any drive right of centre, will be blocked by the trees around 300m from the tee on the right side of the fairway. Any drive to the right will require a controlled fade with the second shot to the lay-up area. The green has many difficult locations available and will require great precision on the approach shot. simedarbylpgamalaysia.com/images/course/Hole06.jpg [/img] Michelle…Birdie…+4...T53 Sergas…Birdie…+6...T 60 Nicole…Birdie…+2...T43 Up next…hole seven…168yd par 3...yesterday Par Go michelle go

Hole seven…168yd par 3 A beautiful par 3 hole with an attractive waterfall on the left and high faced bunkers on the right. A well controlled mid iron shot is required. Be careful with difficult hole locations to the back and left as danger is all around. The safest shot is to play to the front right although lengthy putts will be difficult, as the green has many elevation changes. simedarbylpgamalaysia.com/images/course/Hole07.jpg [/img] Michelle…Par…+4...T53 Sergas…par…+6...T59 Nicole…par…+2...T43 Up next…hole eight…168yd par 4...yesterday Bogey Go michelle go

Hole nine…410yd par 4 A lay-up three wood over the carry bunkers will leave a mid iron to the green. A long and accurate drive to the right will avoid the hollows and will set up for a short iron or wedge approach to the green. The green is situated by the lake which will catch many errant second shots. The pleasantly undulating green is guarded by strategically positioned bunkers and a slope to the lake at the back, which will require careful club selection and precision to score a birdie. simedarbylpgamalaysia.com/images/course/Hole09.jpg [/img] Michelle…Par…+4...T57 Sergas…par…+6...T58 Nicole…par…+3...T47 Tournament score…75...71...+4...T53 Second round Score and results: 71...E…T53 12 pars…3 birdies…3 bogeys… Par 3’s 4 pars…0 birdies…0 bogeys… Par 4’s 7 pars…2 birdies…2 bogeys Par 5’s 1 par…1 birdie…1 bogey Michelle’s second round is 4 strokes better than the first round…but, if their had been a Cut…it is my guess, Michelle would not be playing a third round… Got to love wie golf bobawiefan
