Second shots should miss long rather than short. This hole places a premium on accuracy rather than length. go michelle go

I notice Judy doesn't mention a coach change, I guess that would be a no no.

The longer hitter may be tempted to go for the green in two, however all players would do well to play down the left side taking the trouble in front of the green out of play. go michelle go

Two deep bunkers guard the back portion of the green making an accurate second shot essential. Playing short provides the best opportunity to score. go michelle go

The longer hitter may take a more aggressive line while others should aim well to the right, which provides the shortest carry distance to the fairway. The water hazard behind and to the left of the green requires a precise mid to long iron approach. Michelle let's get a birdie on this last hole so we feel good about tomorrow go michelle go

Just in case some here did not see Michelle play, a few notes. She birdies the 15th. The 16th birdie putt almost fell. On the way to this hole Jerry Foltz commented on how far Michelle hit the ball and they all commented she was probably steamed! Jerry said he hadn't seen her hit that far (onto the green?) since she was a teenager. She Birdied the 17th. She was the only one in the group to birdie the 15th & 17th. The delay must have helped her regroup. For the 18th where she got a bogie: She hit her ball from the 18th tee and I think Jerry said it curved into the water so she rehit from the tee. Next they showed Michelle on the 18th green with a long putt for bogie and she made it! Very good putt. Judy said Michelle battled back enough to give herself a chance tomorrow to make the cut. From what I could see on the back nine she was driving the ball and putting well, except for the ball in the water. The Bogie putt was a great putt on 18!
