I had the feeling that wasn't a very positive pairing for her - Yani has lost it completely at the moment, and this course requires far too much mature course management for Lexi, so I had the feeling they could be dragging each other down. Kudos to her for the guts to make those last 2 birdies, shows real character. Now she needs to get things sorted out and a) earn some dollars for the money list and b) some Rolex Ranking points to stop the slide.

I'm pretty sure Lexi has played well on this course in the past. Not sure what the issues for her were this year, hopefully will see them today on TV. Also see what's happened to Yani.

I liked what I saw on TV…
Hole 15...559yd par 5...Par…
Michelle’s 3rd shot was on line and hit near the pin…Too much back spin…
Ball traveled about 20 ft back from the hole…
Birdie putt was 20 feet pin high, a foot to the right…settle for par
I haven’t seen back spin on michelle’s approach shots for awhile…
It was good to see…a good solid aggressive approach shot…
Hole 16...311yd par 4...bogey
Michelle’s 2nd shot landed past the pin, and she had a downhill putt for birdie…
The ball went past the hole about 10 to 15 ft..
Missed her 15 foot par putt about a foot to the left of the pin…settled for bogey.
Hole 17...120yd par 3...birdie
Tee shot landed 5 to 6 feet below the pin
A good strong look of focus on her face when she putted…good to see
Settled for birdie
Hole 18...477yd par 5...birdie
Michelle smoked her drive about 310yds…
Her second shot was, I think the announcer said, 167 yds…
Her ball landed 10 to 15 feet past the hole…
Her uphill eagle putt was not very aggressive…on line, but lost speed and
Drifted to the left one foot short of the pin…
I think I’m fairly close to the Dist…
But, I liked what I saw…needs some fine tuning and I think she’s ready to break out of this slump…
After michelle made her birdie putt on 18...a look of relief came across her face and she swallowed a couple of times… No fist pumps, I think…not sure

Michelle was on in the last 30 to 45 minutes of TV
golf channel will rebroadcast tonight at12:30 AM EST...9:30 PM PST, and 6:30 HST..

there wasn't much to see of that tournament. I think it was the worst I've seen. Way too many commercials. Mostly the last four holes. The second hit to the green, putt. Par three off the tea and than the putt. Michelle, Yani, and Lexi. Kerr, Susanne, InBe Park, Ia, M. a few others. Looking at the Lake. Talking to Paula & Stacy. Michelle did have a putt for Eagle on the 18th. She thought she got it, almost did. Yani just not with it, Lexi having trouble too.
