It’s 95% bad to worse…only bright spot is the two putt birdies on the par 5's and that’s a let down when they could have been Eagles….

And Michelle is using the cross handed grip on the putter…
Does anybody recall if Michelle was using the cross handed grip in Match Play?
I don’t recall…

Yes, I noticed she was putting left hand low today.

I don't think she was putting that way at the Sybase. She was using a normal (not long) putter, but was using a conventional grip. Still searching I guess.

Disappointing stats. She's going to need a really great round tomorrow to make the cut.

Hi ya folks....yeah yeah yeah, I know that there are a lot of "dissapointment" in today's round...but let me throw all of you a curveball "Positive"....the cutline for now is +3....Wiesy is at +7....in the "caddy handbook of figuring out potential cutlines"...it states that you DOUBLE whatever the cutline and that is probably the 2nd round cutline ( Give or take +1 or -1 "...thus after tomorrows round...the cutline should be either +5, +6, or +7....everything depends on Pin Placements and weather

SOOOOO....this means Wiesy does have a good chance of MAYBE making the cut with a solid round tomorrow....I say that if Wiesy can shoot at least a 2 under round....she should make the cut....the reason that this is important, is that the KID NEEDS BADLY to have a good round of golf for her PSYCHE

here is what concerns me the most...it is her GIR stats....this should be one of Wiesy's strengths...ESPECIALLY at this course with it's wide short fairways...Wiesy has to get at least about 14 or 15 GIRS to have a solid round...if she misses her putts, so be it....but Wiesy CANNOT be missing too many Greens in Regulation

anyway folks...believe it or not...I still have confidence that Wiesy is going to have a good SOLID round tomorrow and make the cut

Indeed the cut will likely be +6, so Michelle "only" has to play -1 to make it. Unfortunately only 13 players managed that in the 1st round which shows how tough that is to do.

Confidence is so critical in sport and she's clearly lacking in that right now. Neither driver nor putter are working ( although I'm assuming she was using 3 wood off the tee a lot given her driving distance numbers ? )

Still, McIlroy missed his 3rd cut in a row, so it can happen to the best. Perhaps they should hook up for the weekends ??!

C'mon Wiesy, I am taking my finals tomorrow morning. I expect to wind down after that, get my Margarita drink and just enjoy a good game of golf from you on TV. Please don't disappoint ok?
