Here is the course layout.........with a detailed discription of every hole..........
Hole 1 - Par 5
Mens: 487 Yards | Ladies: 427 Yards Begin your journey at Ko Olina with a straightaway par 5. The fairway is guarded by OB on the left side and sand bunkers on the right. Keep it in the fairway with the right club selection and avoid all trouble areas. Green is slightly elevated bordered by a sand bunker to the right.
Hole 2 - Par 4
Mens: 387 Yards | Ladies: 321 Yards Lengthy hole with OB and sand bunkers on the left side and water feature to the right. From the tee, prevailing winds cause the ball to drift to the water hazard. Two-tiered, elevated green makes for a difficult approach shot.
Hole 3 - Par 4
Mens: 345 Yards | Ladies: 277 Yards Short par 4, but prevailing winds make this hole quite deceiving. Fairways are guarded by OB and sand bunkers to the left and a lateral water hazard to the right. For long hitters, the landing area is very generous. The hour-shaped green will test your putting skills.
Hole 4 - Par 3
Mens: 184 Yards | Ladies: 125 Yards Down wind and down hill slope make for a difficult shot. A high shot will create a “floater” type shot, which would put you in the pot bunker to the left. The two-tiered green can be difficult to read.
Hole 5 - Par 5
Mens: 506 Yards | Ladies: 438 Yards Another scorable par 5. The fairway is guarded by OB and a sand bunker on the left side and a pond on the right. Hit it down the center and debate whether to go for the green on two. Or simply lay up just short of the sand bunkers to the right. Another hour-shaped green to test your skills.
Hole 6 - Par 4
Mens: 357 Yards | Ladies: 316 Yards Tee shot is affected by a severe swale just in front of the teeing ground. Landing area is very generous, but not ideal for a “slice”. The right side of the fairway is lined with trees and a sand bunker. The elevated green is guarded by a sand bunker on the left.
Hole 7 - Par 4
Mens: 412 Yards | Ladies: 352 Yards This hole runs alongside hole #6, therefore, it calls for another tee shot over a severe swale. The left side of the fairway plays a bit shorter, but hitting your drive too long and left will result in an uphill sand bunker shot. Prevailing winds help with your approach shot to a slightly elevated green.
Hole 8 - Par 3 (signature hole)
Mens: 165 Yards | Ladies: 100 Yards One of our signature par 3 holes. With a water feature along the left side of the hole, club selection is key to success. With a sloping green, par is a great score.
Hole 9 - Par 4
Mens: 409 Yards | Ladies: 332 Yards Guarded by sand bunkers left and right, keep your tee shot in the center. Should you get a little careless off the tee, your approach shot becomes quite lengthy. Two-tiered green makes for a tough “two-putt”.
BACK NINE:
Hole 10 - Par 4
Mens: 393 Yards | Ladies: 307 Yards Slight dog-leg right hole. Hitting a driver is not necessary, but very rewarding if you can carry the water feature on the right side. With an elevated green, you must hit a higher lofted shot to hit it close to the pin.
Hole 11 - Par 4
Mens: 355 Yards | Ladies: 323 Yards Short and scorable par 4. Avoid the sand bunkers to the right and left by hitting it down the center and birdie is a sure possibility.
Hole 12 - Par 3 (signature hole)
Mens: 166 Yards | Ladies: 119 Yards A definite beauty shot! Drive through a cascading waterfall en route to the #12 tee box. Prevailing winds are against you and using more club is in your best interest. Keep your ball below the pin allowing for an uphill putt.
Hole 13 - Par 5
Mens: 500 Yards | Ladies: 431 Yards Elevated tee box overlooks the entire hole. Prevailing winds can play havoc with your tee shot, drifting your ball to the water feature on the right. The water is bordered by a fairway sand bunker, giving you a bit of security. Success on this three-tiered green requires some luck.
Hole 14 - Par 5
Mens: 498 Yards | Ladies: 413 Yards Two par 5’s in a row. Another great opportunity for those long-hitters! Slightly elevated fairway and prevailing winds take some distance away from you. The green is also elevated with two tiers.
Hole 15 - Par 4
Mens: 340 Yards | Ladies: 295 Yards Short par 4 guarded by sand bunkers on the right and left. Long hitters have a chance to hit this green off the tee. A ridge bisects the green.
Hole 16 - Par 3
Mens: 205 Yards | Ladies: 169 Yards Slightly downhill with winds gusting right, this hole can play quite difficult. Our longest par 3, guarded by sand bunkers right and left of the green.
Hole 17 - Par 4
Mens: 338 Yards | Ladies: 303 Yards A short, dog-leg right par 4 poses as an “easy” hole. Sand bunkers are strategically placed on the right side of the fairway and green. Approach shot is directly into the wind.
Hole 18 - Par 4 (signature hole)
Mens: 403 Yards | Ladies: 313 Yards What a finish! Our signature #18 hole plays tougher and longer than it looks at first glance. Water features affect both your tee shot and approach shot. The severely sloped, two-tiered green can also add to your score.

Hi ya everyone...ahhh Maui is fun...the grandkids are GREAT and funny....my spouse and I are having a terriffic time...anyway...about Wiesy golf....
Hi ya Boola and others...there seems to be a misconception about Wiesy's Home Course...ACTUALLY, Wiesy's Home course has changed....when the kid was playing and winning all of her Amateur events as a kid going to Punahou...her HOME course was NOT KooLina (Site of the Lotte Tournament...it was actually Olomana Golf Course....Olomana is on the Windward side of the Island, while Koolina is on the Leeward Side...anyway..Olomana Golf Course was where BJ and Bo would take her everyday after school....her coach at Olomana was Casey Nakama ( he is the Cousin of a VERY good friend of mine)...anyway..among the old-timers, Olomana is actually Wiesy's Home course
BUT...BJ and Bo were very SMART....they started to take Wiesy to practice at KooLina about a year before Wiesy's induction to Sponsorship LPGA events....so Wiesy got to practice at a course that was going to eventually have an LPGA event...pretty smart don't ya think...anyway...anyway, KooLina then became Wiesy's Home course because after school, she started to practice at KooLina....this is why the Media and everyone considers KooLina as Wiesy's Home course...anyway...I hope that all of you liked this TIDBIT about Wiesy's Home Course
anyway...spouse and I go back to Oahu on Monday...good news/Bad news...Bad news is that we won't get to play with the Grandkids...good news is that I will be able to attend the Lotte Tournament....YIPPIE....
here is my assessment of Wiesy's Game as of Now...the Kid is in a "Driving and Putting Slump"....BUT like all things in life, you gotta think POSITIVE thoughts if you want positive things to happen....here are my positive thoughts...Which is VERY ACCURATE and SURE TO HAPPEN....Wiesy is going to have a GREAT Tournament at KooLina....the kid is comfortable at this course...she has had OVER a week to work out the Kinks in her driver and Putter....her confidence should be SKY HIGH....I will be at this event to "Mentally Vibrate" her confidence Level and "Mentally WILL HER BALL" into the Fairway and then into the hole with her putter...trust me on this...here is "my personal Wiesy Watching Record"....the kid has NEVER had a BAD round of golf under my WATCHFUL wee Eyes....Wiesy ALWAYS performs well when I am in attendance...it is the "I don't want to dissappoint WieNation" attitude that makes the kid prevail...and folks...Watch out....you are going to see a FULLY IMPROVED WIESY...I suspect that she will finish in the TOP TEN or TOP FIVE at this event...whew!!! Is this POSITIVE OR WHAT....hmmm....anyway....trust me on this....Wiesy will do Fine at this event and the rest of her season...the kid is tooooo Talented to let this slump continue...I rest my case
hmmm....the above Wiefan Summary is pretty darn good...I think I will copy and paste it and send it to my other golf discussion site....
anyway...all of you have a terriffic day and week...I hope to report good stuff about Wiesy and Others when I attend the event...Aloha and Take care...see ya

"I will be at this event to "Mentally Vibrate" her confidence Level and "Mentally WILL HER BALL" into the Fairway and then into the hole with her putter...trust me on this...here is "my personal Wiesy Watching Record"....the kid has NEVER had a BAD round of golf under my WATCHFUL wee Eyes....Wiesy ALWAYS performs well when I am in attendance". I like your Record, wiefan!

Boy. this course looks like the easiest I've ever seen - "par 5's " around 430 yards, par 4's around 300 yards, even a par 3 of 100 yards. Unless the wind really blows the girls should tear this apart....

Unless the wind really blows the girls should tear this apart.... I think you are looking at the wrong numbers. According to the LPGA website, the course is 6421 long which is actually the men's tees. Generally the LPGA does not play from the ladies tees but rather a combination of tees making a course play to a usual range of 6200+ to 6600 or so. The ladies tees add up to only 5038 yards, so there probably is not 100 yard par 3 nor 430 yard par 5s.

Hi ya folks....ahhh can you FEEL the excitement..can ya feel the RUSH....no no no NOT Rush Limbaugh...I am talking about the Adrenilin RUSH...hmmm....I can feel it in my WIE wee bones that the Kid is READY...she is EAGER...and she is MOTIVATED
speaking about being Motivated...I am still on Maui and I am getting Motivated...so much so that in about an Hour...I am taking my daughter, my spouse and my TWO grandkids to Church....we are going to the Maui "NEW HOPE" church....hmmm....great name correlation to Wiesy's Golf Game...don't ya think so....no no no...I am not talking about Bob HOPE, nor HOPE Solo....I am talking about WieNation HOPE
speaking about having Confidence and STRONG HOPE....here is how I view this Tournament and Wiesy's chances....SHE WILL MAKE THE CUT....I believe this so much that I am going to BUY the SEASON Pass at $25....if I thought that Wiesy would NOT make the cut, I would buy ONLY TWO tickets at $10 a day....folks, I am putting my Money where my mouth is....right after I take my "Foot out of my mouth" so to speak....just kidding folks...anyway....my money says that Wiesy will NOT ONLY make the cut, but she will finish in the TOP TEN....hmmmm....a slight stretch from conventional thinking, but then again...in WieNation, NOTHING is conventional
a little about myself...as far as I know, NO ONE knows what the "Elusive Camera Shy Wiefan" looks like...except Cougar, Mr & Mrs Creamer, Mr and Mrs Lincicome, and Izzy and Dan Biesiegal....soooo...should the TV camera scan the spectators as Wiesy's ball FALLS into the cup for Birdies...look for me hiding behind a skinny coconut tree Peeking....hmmm...enough about this "Finding Waldo" analogy....folks, we are about to Witness the "Finding the NEW and IMPROVED Wiesy"...yep...I am confident that the Kid will perform well at this tournament....the kid has never let me down yet, and I am NOT expecting her to do so at this tournament....now I would post this entire message on Wiesy's Twitter account...but I think it is "too much characters"....hmmm....ahhh what the heck, I will copy and paste this message on my other favorite discussion site
anyway, I hope that all of you in the central USA are safe from the tornados...have a good day and ALOHA...last three words...GO wiesy go...see ya
