Hello Wie Nation: Boy! That shower and shave I had sure felt good….I thought it would be appropriate if I looked good for Michelle’s first tournament after leaving college…And that seems like a long time ago…. I tell you Wie Nation, I am excited…Not so much for Michelle’s golf game, (she may still have a college hangover)…But, you never know what to except from Michelle… I am excited because Wie Nation has STATS!!!! I think it’s safe to say and is the consensus of Wie Nation that putting is the Achilles Heel of Michelle’s golf game. This year after two tournaments, we have this: At the end of 2011, Michelle was ranked 17th in World rankings…after 4 (2 played) tournaments, Michelle is now ranked 20th. In 2011, Michelle was ranked 24th with a 71.94 or par per round scoring average….After 2 tournaments, she is T103 with a 74.88 stroke scoring average per round. What Happened? ? The following 2011 stats will be my main data base for comparison purposes… Ranked 133 in fairway accuracy, hitting 0.594% or 8.3 fairways for 14 holes…She misses an average of 5.7 fairways per 14 holes… Ranked 19th in Gir…hitting 0.697% or 12.55 Gir per round…She misses an average of 5.45 greens per round. Ranked 59th in putts/Gir with a 1.84 putts per green in regulation… Ranked 4th in driving Ave. with 266.9 Yds. Per drive…. Ranked 99th in sand saves with a 0.373% or about 1 sand save out of 3 sand traps hit… My compilation: Michelle’s average total putts per round is 30.759.… At the end of the day or tournament I will l compare her stats with the 2011 main data base. Anyway… Michelle has to get out of the gate early on Thru. Fri and Sat….Cold front moving in Sun…High wind warning for the area… From tournament interviews, the golf course has narrow fairways…thick and deep rough…and tiny greens… Not sure what tees the players are teeing off on…Either Gold or Blue or maybe both??? The par 4 third hole has been made a par 5... The par 5 ninth hole has been made a par 4... The Lpga sure likes to confuse me… Back later

Well Wie Nation….here we go….Michelle make my day short and enjoyable You’re even and tied for 20th…3 strokes back of the leaders Ji Young Oh and Stephanie Sherlock… Yani and shin are at -2 thru 9 and 11 respectively Michelle is paired with Stacy Lewis and Brittany Lincicome some brutal scores if you miss the fairways and greens Going to have to nail these greens Michelle or your chipping game has to be A one No three putt bogeys….It misses up my stats… Up first: Hole 1... 392 or 376 yd…par 4 The first of two lakes creates a tee shot over water, which sits along the right side of the landing area. A second lake then comes into play on the left, as does a creek crossing the fairway about 30 yards below the elevated, hillside green. Grassy “church pews” guard the left of the green, with a deeA gentle dogleg left, the fairway is cut into three sections by two ribbons of water, the second strip crossing about 30 yards short of the green, which is defended by bunkers on all sides.p bunker on the right.

+4 I watched most of that on t.v. and it was tough. So I saw her frustration and I don't blame her that was crazy. Like nothing was falling no matter how close she got that ball to the hole.
If she could just get that putting straight she'd make the cut.
