WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! MINUS-6 MINUS-6 MINUS-6 LEADS THE TOURNAMENT!...LEADS THE TOURNAMENT! In what might have been Michelle's BEST opening round EVER!, Michelle shot a 66 to take the LEAD at -6! The announcer said that Michelle was given a new putter last week... It worked VERY WELL!...EIGHT BIRDIES and 2 bogeys... with 29 putts!...She hit 17 of 18 GIRs, and hit 11 of 14 fairways....Her driving distance was 262.50...just like the old Michelle....Two of her birdies were in the 30-foot range.....All in all....it looked like a NEW Michelle! .................Boola Boss

'Little bit of nerves' no problem for Wie (69) By Randall Mell Golf Central Blog 'Little bit of nerves' no problem for Wie (69) By Randall Mell March 3, 2017, 9:16 am Michelle Wie is relishing her return to the leaderboard at the HSBC Women’s Champions. “Honestly, I woke up before my alarm clock,” Wie said of her start to Friday’s second round in Singapore. “Feeling a little bit of nerves but mostly just excitement.” Nerves didn’t seem a problem with Wie posting a bogey-free 3-under-par 69 to stay in contention. She opened Thursday taking the first-round lead and will start the weekend just one shot behind Inbee Park (67), who is at 10 under overall. read more: www.golfchannel.com/news/golf-central-blog/wie-overcomes-little-bit-nerves-stay-contention/
